If all goes as it’s supposed to, I’m moving into my new house today (!) and it’s my birthday (!) but I didn’t want to leave you high and dry on posts for the week, so this is prescheduled content. I feel like since I’ve started blogging I have moved SO many times, so I’m kind of becoming a pro at this. Since this is such a feel good day for me, I want to spread the happy vibes by telling you about my favorite summer makeup bag staple. Seriously, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
The It Cosmetics Confidence in Your Glow palettes are everything! It Cosmetics recently launched three of these gorgeous palettes with their Drops of Light Technology that have a highlighter, bronzer, and blush shade all in one beautiful ombre strip. As with all of their products, you get the anti-aging ingredients, talc-free, airbrush finish makeup that have made me fall for this brand.
When I first started packing to move, I knew I wanted more than a tiny makeup bag to last me until I was able to get to the boxes with the rest of my makeup. I started packing my full of the things I knew I’d want easy access to. Wouldn’t you know the one makeup product I completely forgot about packing was blush. And all the boxes are taped shut now so too bad for me! When this came for me in the mail I was thrilled to see that Nude Glow is the perfect every day shade. Despite having a huge collection of gorgeous blushes in a multitude of colors, I haven’t strayed much from my Tarte Naughty Nudes that came out about a year ago because nude blush is just so easy. I love that depending on where I sweep the color from this palette I can have a more bronzey peach shade, or a lighter, more highlighted peach. I use this brush when I reach for this palette and have only used it as blush so far, but with the right tools you could absolutely use this as intended as a blush, highlighter, and bronzer. It would make a beautiful eyeshadow palette as well!
So far I’m really loving this palette and I’ve worn it every single day for weeks! Next I need it in the other two shades, Natural Glow and Warm Glow. This is such a staple for me right now! I am feeling so fresh faced and glowy when I wear this. What a great launch from It Cosmetics!
