When I recently discovered all the green beauty products at Macy’s, I stumbled upon an AMAZING bronzer that ticks every box for me. It was my favorite find in my green beauty haul, and I knew I had to share it more in depth when I discovered that it was probably one of the most pretty, subtle, glowy bronzers for fair skin that I have ever tried! And I’ve tried so many! (Seriously, if we were friends in real life, I’d have you come and take some from my stash. Too many).
Just looking into this pan reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders. Don’t they seem to have the same glowy sheen about them? I remember discovering those and being obsessed with them years ago. I can’t remember why I ever stopped being obsessed with them! Actually, the $46 price tag might have a little bit to do with it if we’re being honest. This bronzer on the other hand, is almost $20 less. #justsaying
So, what makes me love the bareMinerals Invisible Bronze Powder Bronzer?
The texture is silky and ultra-fine. It glides on to my skin and is subtle, but slightly buildable. Instead of becoming bolder color, the more I apply, the healthier I look.
Somehow the powder is sheer, bronze, and highlighting all at the same time. Magic?
I think it’s kind of crazy that these are made Italian artisans and no two are alike. It begins as a cream, is baked on a terracotta tile for 24 hours, and then is hand finished into a powder. Sounds like a lot of effort! I love that the way they make these creates no need for binders or fillers in the formula. There are no cheap-o craptastic ingredients that are only there to keep all the different ingredients sticking together in the pan.
In this picture I am wearing Fair-Light. I love the subtle bronze I get. A little bit of sheen, never too much. Other makeup I’m wearing: Dr. Jart+ BB cream; Osmosis Pink Pearl blush; Tarte Love, Trust & Fairy Dust Palette; Tarte Love, Trust & Fairy Dust Palette; and Bite French Press Gloss in Dirty Chai.
Do you have fair skin like me? Does it cause you to not want to wear bronzer? It’s so hard to find one that’s not orangey. I’m obsessed with this one and might even try the Medium shade!
What do you think? Is this on your shopping list?
