Victoria’s Secret has some of the most gorgeous packaging on their fragrances, and Scandalous is no exception. As soon as I laid my eyes on this fabulous bottle, I knew I was going to love it. If I had more space in my room (and no kids with grabby hands), I would have my vanity in there, and I would cover it in Victoria’s Secret perfume bottles. It’s impossible not to feel chic when you use something so beautiful!
The glass is actually carved like this- it’s not just painted on. It’s very art deco era to me. The neck of this bottle swivels to reveal the part that allows the fragrance through when you squeeze the ball. But on to the important part, the fragrance itself! Scandalous has notes of black peony, raspberry liqueur, and praline. It definitely has a warm and cozy vibe and I am really getting the sweet praline notes the most, while still being able to smell a hint of the fruity raspberries. This is super delicious and decadent, and I can see just about anybody really loving this.
While I was testing this, I must have opened the whole neck, and at some point it got knocked over, and 90% of the fragrance leaked out. It seeped into a box of beauty samples that I have been working through for holiday posts, so it’s like my own personal room freshener! I was really bummed that this happened, although it’s my own fault, but it’s worth noting that it’s easy to accidentally unscrew the bottle top instead of just open/closing the neck to get the spigot open to spray. Keep that in mind and you’re golden!
I may just have to replenish this bottle once I’m out because I’m loving it and I have barely any left! It’s a perfect wintery fragrance that reminds me of cozying up next to the fire, but I would totally wear it year round.
