Spring Lust List
I have a wish list a mile long right now for Spring. Originally, most of the launches in stores for the season didn’t appeal to me, but now I am starting to make eyes at a few things. Some are newer and some have been in stores for ages and I am just now jumping on the bandwagon.
Josie Maran Argan Milk is made from purified water to hydrate and argan oil to nourish and protect. I’ve been looking at this since it came out and it just might have to become mine one of these days. I think it would be perfect for summer.
I’m seeing everyone review the Ardency Inn Custom Coverage Concentrate and now I need some! It’s a foundation where you can mix in a certain amount of your moisturizer to create exactly the coverage you need. One part moisturizer to two parts concentrate would be a fuller coverage look, and equal parts of both would be more sheer. I like that I can customize my foundation by day, and I like the idea of mixing in a moisturizer!
Bite Beauty Lipstick in Vigne is something I picked up at the store today because it was on my wishlist actually, so it doesn’t really belong on my list. It’s described as a fuchsia berry, but I think it’s a little softer. Our Sephora just got an endcap with all Bite Beauty stuff and I have been drooling over it. I was one of the first people to get my hands on all the sample tubes and I was going crazy swatching everything. I am really kicking myself that I didn’t pick up a holiday sampler of these lipsticks because I love them and would love to own a bunch of minis!
Ok, another confession. I also picked up Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Eyes Broad Spectrum 15 in light tonight so this doesn’t belong on here either. I tried this the other day in store and after looking in the mirror a few times I knew I needed it. It has the benefits of a BB cream but is moderate to full coverage. It’s supposed to fade the look of dark circles instantly and over time, reduce puffiness, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve firmness, prime, protect, conceal, hydrate and illuminate. Um, yes please! I wanted to pick up the light/medium shade so it would last me into summer but that was super dark on me.
I read a review on the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette which is not new at all, but now I really want it! It’s not a necessity and I have many of the colors in other palettes, but maybe if I still want it in a few months I’ll pick it up as a special treat!
My current Beauty Blender is past its prime and I should probably replace it. It’s really tempting to pick up the Beauty Blender Triple Threat which is basically getting a Beauty Blender and the cleanser for free. I hate to say I got suckered in to a fancy sponge with a high price tag, but this is really unlike any other sponge I’ve tried and it applies my foundation better than anything else I’ve owned including a foundation brush!
I tried some Clarins Double Serum on the back of my hand a while back and I am still thinking about how soft and smooth and amazing it was. I would love to own this someday but I have a pile of skincare to use up before I can even think about it!
I’m addicted to eye serums and Peter Thomas Roth Neuroliquid Volufill Youth Eye Serum is supposed to improve the look of lost fullness, hollowness, wrinkles, crow’s feet, crepiness, and darkness. I don’t need it because I have similar products but I’d love to try it someday. It caught my eye on Sephora’s website today.
Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Native has been calling my name lately. I wasn’t really interested in the first palette, but this one seems like it would suit fairer skin like mine, and I love the idea of having a blush, bronzer, and highlighter all in one palette.
*Sigh*….in my rich future fantasy life I will own all the pretty things….
