If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know I recently took the #Olay28Day Challenge. I am really into skincare and I love when I am challenged to follow a routine and promised to achieve certain results. By using Olay Total Effects Moisturizer with SPF 15 and Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel, I was told I would see results starting on Day 1.
So…how did it work out for me? You guys! I really noticed a difference! I’m telling you, pictures don’t lie.
Before, During, and After the Olay 28- Day Challenge
I’m used to using a lot of skincare products. I actually really enjoy it. But this month was a doozy between school starting, three September birthdays, etc. I was grateful to embrace a simpler skincare routine that required very little effort on my part.
Olay Total Effects Moisturizer with SPF 15 has been my daily dose of sunscreen for the past month. If I’m being honest, I often forget to apply sunscreen when it’s not summer anymore, even though I know the sun is the #1 cause of visible skin aging. The formula for this moisturizer is creamy, fragrance-free, vitamin rich, and deeply hydrating. Over the span of the month, I noticed my skin was smoother, firmer, and more balanced overall.
The consistency is really light which is also great because my pores are easily clogged. I didn’t break out at all with this and nothing about the texture feels like a sunscreen to me. In a pinch, I was able to add some liquid highlighter to this and apply it to my legs when I was wearing a skirt earlier this month too. I love the formula for face and body!
Another change I made this month was adding the Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel to my morning and nighttime skincare routine. I immediately knew I was going to love this because even on the first application I could tell it was intensely hydrating, cooling, and soothing. I like to baby my eye area because when I don’t bring moisture to it, any fine lines really age me. I don’t have very many visible signs of aging at the moment, as long as I am taking great care of my skin. The eye gel really helped my thirsty eye area look more awake in the last 28 days of the challenge!
I’m a busy mom and I rarely have a moment to myself. I know other moms are in the same boat as I am, and it’s also hard to justify spending hundreds on a skincare routine. But Olay products are inexpensive and they really work! The proof is in the pictures. If you’re interested in a simple and effective skincare routine, try adding an SPF moisturizer and an eye cream to the mix. I think you’ll be surprised by the quick results you’ll get! Better yet, take the 28-day challenge with me, and experience the same results I did for yourself!
