I was wandering around our local mall recently and wouldn’t you know I stumbled upon a new beauty store. Better yet, this store carries so many brands I’ve only ever heard about online and now I have a chance to see them in person. I am legit so excited to have stumbled upon this store, Riley Rose. It’s a very fun, fashion forward store that has a lot of beauty and lifestyle products. I could’ve spent a whole afternoon checking out brands but I only had 20 minutes and somehow I made it out with three things and only spent $14.
I was so glad to have found mini sizes of some products. My first pick was Aromatica Natural Coconut Cleansing Oil. This is a K-beauty product. It’s a 100% organic, hypoallergenic coconut oil that deep cleans and nourishes skin. It’s also silicone and mineral oil-free. I figured this would be an easy buy because if I hated it it would be gone soon. But OMG do I love this. It has a light scent and is so softening to my skin. Every last bit of my makeup comes off with ease, it’s deeply hydrating, and softens my skin while it cleanses. I’m obsessed with it and a little sad my bottle is so small.
Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus(sunflower) Seed Oil, Polyglyceryl-2 Sesquioleate, Prunus Armeniaca(apricot) Kernel Oil, Cocos Nucifera (coconut) Oil, Canola Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis(sweet Almond) Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Olea Europaea(olive) Fruit Oil, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprylate, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Diglycerin, Water, Tocopherol, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis(orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Limon Fruit Oil.
My second buy was a toner. I can’t remember how much I paid for the Heimish Refresh Water, but it was less than $10! I love toners for refreshing my dry skin and leaving my skin a clean canvas for skincare to absorb. This toner is super gentle and has no alcohol, artificial fragrance, dye, or parabens. I found it great for sensitive skin. This is a Korean beauty brand, and they are known for their skincare! I was super impressed by the light and clean fragrance and by how fresh it left my skin after applying with a cotton ball.

Lastly, I picked up the Donkey Milk Sleeping Mask. My favorite type of skincare is always something that will provide deeply hydrating benefits overnight. I want to wake up with amazing skin every morning. This is another K-beauty product that doesn’t disappoint. There is far more product in this one mask than I would need for one night or even three nights. My only gripe is that it is hard to keep the product in the packaging to save it for the next night. The night I opened this, I slathered this all over my face and neck and down my shoulders. The scent is amazing and so is the ingredient list. It promises optimal recovery of dry, fatigued and sensitive skin and boy does it deliver. It is super rich on application, sinks right into my skin, and I could immediately feel a difference in my skin. Donkey Milk has been revered as “white gold” by the likes of Hippocrates and Cleopatra due to it being rich in proteins, minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, bioactive enzyme and coenzyme, etc. I’d totally buy this again. Loved it!

Overall, I had a fabulous experience shopping at Riley Rose. I’ve always heard of some of the brands they carry, but I’ve never seen them in person! I got to play with a bunch of indie makeup brands I’ve only ever heard of, SO MANY green brands, K-beauty, and they carry a lot of brands that have been around forever at Sephora and Ulta too. I’m obsessed! I can’t wait to get out to the mall to check out the store again!
