There are so many kits out there right now to be excited about, and one of them is the Radical Start Kit by Radical Skincare that I have to show you today! I am between skincare regimens right now so I figured it would be the perfect time to test something out and give you my first impressions. Keep in mind that there is not time for a full review of these if you want to get your hands on them before the holidays, so I’m just telling you what I think of these based on the handful of times I’ve used them.
This kit retails for $99 and is a $197 value. Wow! There is a lot in here to test out and you are getting a nice value considering this is really high end stuff.
The Age Defying Exfoliating pads come in a sample pack here, and it’s a perfect way to try them considering the full size retails for $75. They contain AHA and BHA acid and do a really nice job tightening and firming the skin. I love these because they make my pores feel tighter and make my fine lines look a little less prominent. I can’t use these more than twice a week or they will dry my skin out, but I am SUPER dry right now. They are milder than most exfoliating pads I’ve used which is nice because I like the skincare benefits of exfoliating pads but I like to keep my moisture where it’s at.
The Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum is another winner in my book. It works to fight the 16 causes of aging for a smooth, youthful complexion. There are lots of claims here like protecting, firming, repairing, evening skintone, and reducing wrinkles. I can tell it’s really hydrating my skin and softening it big time. I can’t speak to the long term results, and I’m not even sure that with a month supply of this you would see major effects, but I’ve found in the past with serums that right aging, the best and most effective ones make my skin baby soft and this one does. I predict running out of this serum quicker than anything else in the kit, because I am using 3 pumps on my face and neck, morning and night. I tend to run out of serums first in sets like these!
The Eye Revive Créme feels similar to the serum and smells faintly like cucumbers. When I opened this, a bunch of it had drained out into the cap, which was a bummer because it’s so expensive. I was able to salvage it because it’s not so liquidy that it dissolved out of the cap or anything, but I’m not sure if that’s a common packaging malfunction or just my experience. This is a four-in-one treatment that works to hydrate, reduce puffiness, decrease coloration and dark circles, and diminish the appearance of wrinkle depth in as little as four weeks. I love the scent and it feels luxurious on. The texture is a cross between a serum and an eye cream.
Lastly, the Anti-Aging Restorative Moisture is an amazing moisturizer, and it better be for $150! This is meant to improve skin radiance, skin hydration and moisture level, and skin softness within fifteen minutes of use. It is also supposed to combat dark spots and even skin tone. I have a couple dark spots I’m trying to diminish right now so I will keep you posted on whether a miracle has been performed. It does seem very hydrating and my skin feels super duper soft after use!
I think this is a really neat way to try the skincare line. It’s basically half off, but still going to cost you big time. I see this being a fun splurge, but more than I would normally spend on my skin care regimen. I could see myself buying this if I had a fancy event or wedding coming up and I wanted to look and feel my best.
It is a luxurious experience applying these products, and I really loved them! Have you tried the line?
