Boots Soothing Eye Makeup Remover- It does contain oil, but it gets my eye makeup off in 2 seconds flat. For $7, I love the price and I love that it gets even my waterproof formulas off with ease.
Talika Lash Conditioning Cleanser- I am currently running trial on this, but it has been doing a great job getting off every last little piece of gunk from my lashes so I don’t have all that crud in my eyes when I wake up. It has also been strengthening my lashes over time using it. Look for a review on this in a couple weeks.
Clinique Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser- LOVE this cleanser. This has been a repurchase over the years several times. Unfortunately they don’t usually give it out in their GWP but if you get the chance to head to your local Clinique counter, you should ask for a little sample of it. It rocks and really cleans out the pores.
St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub- I’ve been using this since high school. It rivals some of my more expensive scrubs, comes in a huge bottle, and only retails for $3 or so. You can’t go wrong! My favorite is how fine and how many exfoliating beads are in this. It’s not wimpy but it’s not harsh. I use this 3-4 times a week, so about every other day.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2- I love this toner and use it morning and night. I am astonished how I can cleanse my skin and STILL get a whole cotton ball full of yuck when I use this.
Indie Lee Vanilla Citrus Oil- I rotate between using this and the Lavender Oil she makes. I apply it from the neck down, and any extra I have left on my hands at the end goes in my hair! I love how it’s moisturizing and gives some energy to my parched skin. It works better than a lotion to hydrate my skin!
Lush Grease Lightning- After toning my skin, I have been applying 1-2 pumps over my whole face and neck. I like that it is a light formula that still gets down and dirty but doesn’t feel harsh on my skin.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel- I can’t say enough good things about this gel. First off, if you’re not a fan of Clinique’s famous yellow lotion, you might end up loving this as an alternative since they’re nothing alike. I love that this is reasonably priced for the department store, and the gel doesn’t contain any oil so it’s safe to use during a breakout.
100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream- I have been using this to nuke my dark circles lately. I pulled it out of my stash a few weeks ago after I was planning a post on banishing dark circles. I took a before picture, then started applying all my awesome trusty tried and true dark circle products and took an after picture, and thought OMG they’re not looking any better! I erased my post and started a strict regimen of using this day and night. Things are looking way better! On a side note I put it aside for a couple days and switched to a different eye cream and my circles came back. So…it really works!
Talika Lipocils- I have been using this lash growth product morning and night for a few weeks and right around the time this posts my trial will be done. I’ll save the details for later but now you know I’ve been faithful in my applications!
Clinique Emergency Spot Treatment Gel Lotion- This is another acne product! Yay me and my pizza face! After I put Lush’s Grease Lightning everywhere, I go back and apply this to my big crater pimples. I’m afraid to apply this liberally on my face so I use it for the big scary pimples only. It is a little drying (and my big pimples need to be dried out) but since I’m having a problem with dryness too I don’t want to go overboard.
C.O. Bigelow Lip Buffer- I have been using this a few times a week to keep my dry, peeling, nasty lips looking a little healthier. I love this stuff but I think it’s been discontinued. Recommend another buffer for me!
That about wraps it up for my skin care routine lately. I will add the occasional mask here and there as well. The ones I tend to use the most when I breaking out are my Clinique Acne Solutions mask, and my MAD Skincare masks from their Acne line. When I am having a super dry skin day I will sometimes use the MAD Skincare Delicate Mask too.
