I read on Glamorable last week that L’Occitane was coming out with a beauty sampling program(!) and considering they are literally in my top five favorite brands ever I immediately had to check it out. I think I was on my phone in bed when I was reading her blog post, and I clicked immediately on over to L’Occitane’s website to get my very own. The very next day I learned more from the company about it and today I have one to show you (and another on the way to me soon).
It comes in a gorgeous box that I’m going to to try and repurpose. I’m not sure exactly what I will do with it yet, but I’ll keep you posted. By the way, it’s called L’OcciBox (LOX-EE-BOX) and it’s $15 and offered once per season. You don’t have to sign up and each box will come with a pre-selected assortment of L’Occitane items and an exclusive gift from a special partner. Partners will change with season, and the first is ELLE magazine.
When I opened this, the first thing I saw was this super cute orange pencil bag. Inside, four mini lotions and a nail file were hiding. So cute!
I love that the lotions have cartoon characters on them. They are so adorable and perfectly travel friendly. I should start a purse lotion jar because I have SO many of these little guys hanging out in various places in my house. I love that I always have one handy!
This set includes:
– Precious Cleansing Foam 1.7 fl.oz
– Shea Butter Body Milk 1.7 .oz
– Arlésienne Hand Cream 0.3 .oz
– Almond Supple Skin Oil 0.5 fl.oz
– Immortelle Sample Divine Cream 0.05 .oz x2
– L’OcciBox Box
– Shea ELLE Hand Cream 0.3 .oz
– Cherry Blossom ELLE Hand Cream 0.3 .oz
– Verbena ELLE Hand Cream 0.3 .oz
– Almond ELLE Hand Cream 0.3 .oz
– ELLE Pouch
My favorite find in the whole box is the Precious Cleansing Foam. I have been traveling with makeup wipes only because I didn’t have a mini facial soap so I’m really pumped to put this to good use. I also have a refill bag of the cleanser (long story, don’t ask haha) and never had the actual pump to put it in, so I will have the ability to refill this probably forever. I also don’t think I’ve ever tried the Shea Butter Body Milk. The Immortelle Divine Cream is something I already know I love so I’ll keep it for travel since it’s just in little foil packs.
All in all I’m very pleased with the box and I can’t wait for my other one to come in the mail! There are some really nice products in here and LOTS of hand lotion. I will get a ton of use out of this. I am excited to see what is in the Spring box.
In case you want to get one of your own, check HERE. It’s listed on L’Occitane’s website as $50, but when you enter the promo code DISCOVER, it will automatically take the price down to $15. Limited quantities are available, and only one is available per customer. You can’t combine this deal with any other deals either. I bought mine on a free shipping day on the website, and I want to say that DID count, but now I can’t remember!
These boxes are on sale until December 31st, 2014. They are currently out of stock, but hopefully they come back soon!
Is this something you have your eye on? I am SO thrilled with mine!
