Kiehl’s has some fabulous skincare. A few months ago I reviewed one of the most effective serums I have ever tried (can’t wait to give it a shot in the summer), and their facial oil is absolutely wonderful, but one thing I don’t think I’ve written about is their eye cream. It is super creamy and effective at keeping the eye area hydrated. I have used it before, but I wanted to tell you about their brand new, limited edition packaging.
In honor of Earth Day, Kiehl’s is proud to donate $50,000 to Recycle Across America. These funds will be used to create 65,000 standardized recycling labels to 650 K-12 schools in the US. The donated funds will be raised from Kiehl’s Limited Edition Label Art series, featuring art by this year’s Friends of Kiehl’s, Elizabeth Olsen and Maggie Q. Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is coming in a limited edition packaging with earth-inspired designs by both Elizabeth Olsen and Maggie Q, depicting their vision of social responsibility. The artwork was created in collaboration with Fernando Mastrangelo who is known for his work with everyday materials- salt, coffee, sand, and silica.
Inside this tub of eye cream is the same magical formula that I love so much. There is a two-part structure of the cream for dual hydration. When I first apply it, it feels buttery and thick, and once I start blending it in, water is released for maximum moisturization. The cream is soothing and refreshing and I’m able to use it in the day underneath makeup, and at night. Some of the main ingredients are avocado oil, vitamins A & E, shea butter, sodium PCA, and beta-carotene. .95 oz. retails for $47.
The Recycle and Be Rewarded! program allows customers of Kiehl’s free-standing stores to return their empty Kiehl’s bottles, tubes and jars for recycling, in exchange for product. Since 2009, Kiehl’s has recycled over 2,500,000 bottles!
I wish we had a free standing store where I live. We are getting a Nordstrom in October, so we will have a counter soon! I can’t wait!
Will you be buying the LE packaging? I love how beachy it looks. It is so much more fun to use with the LE packaging!
