You guys…I’m obsessed with these workout arm bands. They’re called Bala Bangles and they’re my new favorite thing. They come in a 1 lb. and 2 lb. variety and tons of different colors. They’re velcro so totally adjustable and they’re so damn cute. I have the 1 lb. in purple that you see here, and I recently ordered the blush shade as an alternative, and the black shade in 2 lb. for my ankles!
Do I think an extra 1-2 lbs. of weight really makes that much of a difference to my fitness life? Actually, yes. They’re pretty non-obtrusive and easy to put on and take off. I don’t typically wear them all day, but if I’m doing work around the house or taking a walk I always put them on to give my activity a little boost. Basically, since I’m giving myself a teeny bit of resistance over a longer length of time than I would typically work out, I see it having a huge benefit. I don’t fatigue quickly since it’s a low amount of weight.
The best part? I had surgery on my elbow/arm (the radial head) a couple years ago and ever since then I’ve had issues with my left arm being a tiny bit creaky and not as strong. To be honest, I haven’t prioritized working out like I should since this injury. As I try to work back into a fitness regimen, I figure it can’t hurt to add Bala Bangles to my day-to-day. So far, I love them!
