How I finally quit drinking Starbucks

How I finally quit drinking Starbucks

Fun fact about me: I am obsessed with buying the things my Facebook ads recommend. So far, I’ve found my favorite non-toxic perfume, and a customized haircare system through ads. And now I’ve found coffee creamer that is so good, that I’ve kicked my morning drive-through coffee habit forever, and that’s REALLY saying something, because I’ve been low-key addicted to Starbucks for my entire adult life.

So what attracted me to Prymal? Honestly, I’ve been looking to switch up my morning routine a little bit. During the school year, I have often found myself drinking a cup of coffee in the morning, then as soon as I leave my house I’d drive through Starbucks. I usually get a plain black coffee or an almond milk latte with a shot of flavor. I do it because I don’t get enough sleep and one cup of straight up coffee is just not enough caffeine for me to start my day.

Over the summer, I switched over to Neuroast Instant Americano for my morning blend and I love that it has a little bit more kick than a cup of regular coffee. What that means for me is I’m satisfied with one cup o’ joe and I’m not finding myself starting my morning binging on caffeine and winding up with a headache by 9 am. I’m drinking it from home and I’m not in the Starbucks drive through. And when Prymal popped up on my Facebook ads, I knew it could make a good thing even better.

What attracted me to trying this creamer is that it promised a creamy, delicious, flavorful cup of coffee with natural ingredients and no chemicals. Here are just a few of the quality ingredients:

  • No artificial sweeteners. Low-quality sweeteners (sucralose, aspartame, ace-K, and other sugar-free sweeteners) can cause health problems. Prymal uses a blend of stevia, monk fruit, erythritol, and natural flavor. It’s safe for those conscious of their blood sugar.
  • Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT oil). MCT is a type of dietary fat shown to provide lean, fast-acting energy for the body and brain, and provides numerous benefits with regular consumption. It gives a natural lift in energy and increased mental clarity. The MCT Prymal uses is derived from coconuts and sustainably sourced palm that does not contribute to deforestation.
  • Coconut Oil & Coconut Milk. Both are great sources of essential fats like MCT and Lauric Acid, which provide benefits like reduced hunger, increased fat burning, and steady energy.

I simply add two heaping spoonfuls into my cup of coffee (or americano) and it’s the most creamy and delicious drink on earth that ticks every box for me. It tastes like a huge splurge but it’s not. I feel great after I drink it, unlike when I drink Starbucks and typically feel bloated. My only tip is to make sure to blend the powder in really well, and consider buying a milk frother. I actually don’t own one, I just use a fork. But it can be clumpy if you don’t do a great job blending it in to your coffee drink.

There are so many flavor options, including the sampler variety pack, which contains Salted Caramel, Cacao Mocha, Unsweetened Original, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, and Hazelnut. Other favorites are Cookie Dough and Birthday Cake (which has real sprinkles in it!). Order whenever you run out or subscribe to save 10% off and you’ll get it to your door every 30-45 days. They have had seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Spice, and I can’t wait to see what they roll out year round, now that they are on my radar.

I knew I rounded a corner when my hubby got me Starbucks on Sunday morning so it would be waiting for me when I woke up (seriously so sweet) and I realized I actually flavor my home brewed blend of Neuroast and Prymal! I’m saving so much money drinking coffee at home and it’s good and good for me!
