The other day I was at Whole Foods and stumbled upon a $9 perfume you NEED and today I’m sharing more beauty finds from the grocery store. I’m all about that 80/20 life when it comes to making healthy choices and non-toxic beauty. If there is something clean and organic that I could be doing that holds up in quality to my other every day favorites you know I’m going to try it! So of course when I found out that Not Your Mother’s Naturals products were available at Whole Foods, I wanted to try them!
I have long, thick, wavy hair and I’m pretty committed to this natural haircare line for color-treated hair. But, I’m always looking for something for my daughters, who have fine hair and a lot of it. I love using natural products on them and even better when they come in huge 16 oz. bottles with a pump. This collection is made with 98% naturally derived ingredients, is made in the USA, is cruelty-free, full of sulfates, phthalates, gluten, silicones, parabens and dyes.
There are lots of shampoos, conditioners, and other hair care products in the line but the kind we tried was Activated Bamboo Charcoal & Purple Moonstone. I love charcoal as an ingredient in my skincare (it’s in my favorite clean beauty setting spray) and of course I love it in my haircare! The charcoal in this formula is there to re-balance the hair and scalp to combat impurities and build-up.
We have tried this a few times and I’m already sold on it for the kids. I am obsessed with salon quality at a lower price tag, which this totally is at $8.99 a pop. My kids only get their hair washed 1-2 times a week, but they play hard outdoors in the summer so I’m imagining this being perfect for sweaty summer days on bath night as well. The bottles are large so this will last a long time at our house!
I’m glad I found these hair products available at Whole Foods. Our nearest one is about 20 minutes away. I would love to make it there more often to shop. I always find hidden gems every time I go!
