I have been using this mask for years. In just 5 minutes, you can really turn around the condition of your hair. I have super thick hair, and this Intense Hydrating Mask is ideal for strands like mine. It conditions, deeply hydrates, improves my hair’s texture, elasticity, shine and manageability. I rotate between this and other masks, but I probably use this one the most frequently because it smells so good!
Kanebo Sensai’s Intensive Hair Mask is made for severely damaged hair, and features ten oriental herbal extracts to offer extra care and repair, smoothness and shine. The Kanebo Sensai Collection is based on the precious qualities of Japan’s Koishimaru silk combined with the most advanced technologies. I wouldn’t consider my hair as being SEVERELY damaged, but I do feel a noticeable difference in my hair before and after using this. It smells nice- slightly floral but nothing too strong. I like to coat my ends with the product and work my way up to about my ears. I don’t apply masks close to my scalp because I don’t want any product buildup there. If you’re looking for a high end mask, this could be the ticket for you!
UNITE has some amazing hair products, and their Moisturizing Repair Treatment is no exception. There are many benefits to using this, including that it’s paraben free, sodium chloride free, color safe, vegan, and 100% weightless. I love that it comes in a squeezy tube so I don’t have to reach my wet hand in the tub while I’m showering. It always makes me nervous that I’m going to drop something and all the contents will go flying. This makes my dry hair so moisturized and soft and I just love using it!
Yet another amazing product from L’Occitane, the Aromachologie Repairing Mask is a mask that does it all. It contains 5 essential oils- angelica, lavender, geranium, ylang-ylang and patchouli- plus sunflower and wheat oils. This product is particularly recommended for colored and chemically-treated hair, which is exactly what I need. All the things you can do to damage your hair (blow dry, curling iron, hot roller, pollution, sun) can be fixed with this mask that will make your hair soft, shiny and smooth! It’s a wonderful duo with the Repairing Oil above.
This is my go-to hair serum in the summer or in colder months when I need a little tropical escape. This serum contains a unique blend or organic weightless coconut oil and silk keratin proteins that help prevent hair against breaking, and add moisture and strength to weak and damaged hair. It is so delicious smelling- like a real coconut! I can’t believe how inexpensive it is either. You can usually find this at your local drugstore, grocery store, or sometimes beauty supply stores. I’ve read online that you can wash it out, but I like to leave it in…as long as you don’t apply too much and focus towards the ends you should be fine.
