Thank you Minted for sponsoring this message. All opinions are my own.
What a year it has been!
It’s pretty impossible to get to December without thinking about the high and low moments in a year, and what you’d like to reach for the following year. This year was no exception for my family, and I’m so happy to say we are ending 2018 in a great place. I have so much to be grateful for this year, both personally and professionally. Turbulence with employment in our family caused me to be way less present on my blog than I have been in previous years. Despite that, I feel more passionate than ever about what I do in this space, and I am ready to hit the ground running in 2019.
A few things I’m proud of:
- I wrote an eBook earlier this year detailing all of the things I’ve learned about making money blogging. It’s pretty rad if I do say so myself, 50 pages long, full of amazing info, and FREE. Check it out here if you’re interested.
- I streamlined my content to fit the tagline “easy beauty and healthy lifestyle for the busy babe” and I’m so happy to be reaching hundreds of thousands of people over the span of a year to connect with over this message.
- I’ve networked with local bloggers and photographers in Milwaukee this year which has been so refreshing. For someone like me with anxiety, it’s not always easy to make these connections, but it’s been so life giving to me!
Some goals I have? I’d like to keep doing more of what I’m doing. I love the 80/20 lifestyle of health and wellness most of the time, and a little bit naughty the rest 🙂 I would love to appear more on video and revive my private girls-only FB group. I have another project in the works for featuring quick and easy non-toxic makeup looks in the new year. I would also like to spend more time traveling, enjoying life, and discovering new things. 2018 was exhausting and I’d love if 2019 could be more about stopping to smell the roses.
One thing I think is very important to any successful person or business? Showing gratitude. I plan to send these gorgeous Christmas cards from Minted to several of the brands that worked with me this year. I don’t accept very much PR and I don’t do sponsorships frequently, but the few companies I do partner with mean the world to me. I can’t wait to send them one of these beautiful gold foiled cards and write a personalized message on the back of each one. Minted has a huge assortment of holiday cards on their site right now, and it’s the perfect time of year to send a card to the people you are thankful for. I love how you can personalize them or you can make them very simple like I did! I like to write my own messages. There truly is an option for everyone.
Your support in reading my site means everything to me! What I do in this space allows me to put my kids in extracurriculars, buy Christmas presents, pay it forward in my own community, and more. I can’t thank you enough for taking an interest in what I do here. I have not forgotten that those reading are people I should feel grateful to as well, so watch for a giveaway later today on Instagram. I’m thinking about starting to give away a package each month on there. What do you think?
Have you sent out Christmas cards yet this year? I’d love to hear about where you typically get yours from. Tell me in the comments!
