So last week on Friday I started a weekly post on fitness and last night I failed at posting my update. Truth be told, we had some mega craziness happen this past week and I didn’t get to work out or follow any of my fitness goals. I am kind of bumming about it but have to remind myself I’m only human and all I can do is the best I can do.
So what’s going on in my life? I will fill you in extra tomorrow during my week in Instagram but I will tell you the basics now. We planned a family trip to see our family in WI before we knew we would be moving to Spokane. So we will be gone for 2 weeks and as soon as we are back we need to be packed up and leave within about 10 days. I didn’t spend my week at the gym as intended, I spent it packing all of our stuff for the move. Life happens and I intend to get back on the horse ASAP. In the meantime, here are some of my fitness and healthy living goals for the next week to come:
-Eat healthy foods as much as possible while traveling and visiting family. When we go out to restaurants, order salads rather than burgers and fried foods. I am already making strides towards this because during our 26 hour car trip I have th e cooler packed so we won’t stop for fast food.
-Move my butt. I don’t have a gym to go to at home but I can ma a point of walking at the mall or on my parents’ treadmill.
-Use my iPad to look up workouts. I have the Nook app so no excuses why I can’t make use of Shape and Self magazines that I subscribe to- they have several workouts.
-Work on my posture. I had to go to the chiropractor a few weeks ago after I pinched a nerve in my neck. I thought I was back to perfect after a couple appointments but my Dr. said I was only at 75%. Kind of a wakeup call that I probably don’t feel as well as I could on a regular basis.
