I’m always psyched to try new beauty products, and support some of my favorite brands. I try a lot of stuff that’s sent to me, but I also buy quite a bit of stuff. Today I wanted to share everything that’s made its way into my house from Sephora in the past year. I buy from a lot of retailers, but probably spend the most at Sephora so that’s what I wanted to share! I’ll note whether I love the product, if I reviewed it, and if I still use it. I’d love to hear about what you’ve been buying in the comments below!
I’m linking this to Ulta because they no longer sell this brand at Sephora. I love this blush. I usually mix both pans together so I can get the intensity of the matte blush with the glimmer of the highlighting blush. This is the perfect every day color that goes with anything and I still use it all the time!
I bought a mini of this because it’s $$$. It got lost in the shuffle sometime in the last year but it’s a great product that I love. I don’t wear primer every day but when I do I’ll reach for this. It comes in a liquid version now too, which is probably more hygienic.
This is a really great clean beauty makeup removing cleanser. I used every last drop of this but didn’t repurchase because I think it was clogging my sink!
I love this eye cream. I still have some left after almost a year. It’s one of the only eye creams I’ve ever owned that I can feel do something. It feels firming when I use it.
Lip balms get lost in my house, my purse, my van, etc. I rediscovered this one in the glove compartment in my van the other day. I’ve been using my Fitglow Beauty lip oils a whole lot more than anything else lately, but my love for Laneige is still going strong!
I wash my hair 2x a week and love using this when it’s damp before I heat style. Honestly, I am so low maintenance with my hair care routine that I have not been good about using this. It’s a great product that I should be using way more often.
I’m picky about hair masks. This one didn’t leave my hair as soft as my favorite from Saints & Sinners so I kind of abandoned it.
I lost this between the car seats in my mom’s vehicle months ago and just got it back. I love Kosas, and they are one of my favorite brands for makeup, especially lipstick. I appreciate a softer color with less intensity like found in this lip balm. It’s definitely one of my favorite lippies.
I love Kosas Tinted Face Oil, their blushes, and lipsticks. This one is no exception. I keep buying everything they come out with. This lipstick is one of my top favorite beauty products period. I was so happy to see this brand come to Sephora.
I wear this shade frequently when I’m not going to be doing much besides going out in the sun. It’s nice on its own, but I prefer a MAC Paint Pot if I’m going to be layering shadow over top. I think it’s awesome that these Supergoop shadows have SPF though. They’re the only brand I know of to offer that in an eyeshadow.
One of my all time favorite concealers ever. I use this all the time! This was a repurchase.
I hated this mascara with a fiery passion. I think I even returned it, and I rarely make the time to return anything. I usually love everything Josie comes out with, but I really didn’t like the mascara.
I bought this for days I curl or wave my hair and it needs a little something to give it texture. I love this spray for its light hold, separating texture, and especially the way it smells. I have barely done my hair since the pandemic started, but when I do this is something I always reach for. I can’t find this at Sephora online anymore so I linked to Drybar’s site.
Lip gloss and balm are practically disposable for me because I’m always leaving them places. I found this in the bottom of an old purse the other day. I love it! It’s similar to Laneige with more of a soft oil texture. I might even like it a little bit more.
I don’t use this much because I don’t wear eyeshadow too often. But when I do I’m always reaching for this or a MAC Paint Pot. I love that it cancels out any discoloration on my lids.
I bought this last winter when I needed a pick me up. I knew a power lip color would suit me well. I was right and I get a mood boost every time I wear this lipstick. It’s a pop of bright pink and it brightens up my whole face, my smile, and my overall attitude whenever I wear it. It also has pretty great staying power for a non-matte non-liquid lipstick.
This is another lipstick to layer over top of that fancy Hourglass lip liner. I love the berry shade. It’s deep and pretty and makes me feel fancy. I don’t wear it often but love the pick me up of a bold lip.
I bought this hoping it would be a Fitglow Beauty Lip Serum dupe. It didn’t make the cut. I have used it a handful of times since I bought it.
I was excited to hear that Bite Beauty was coming out with real makeup, and not just lipsticks! I wanted to try something that I knew I’d use so I picked up the pressed powder. I love this and use it daily. I want to try the liquid foundation and primer sometime too.
I can’t count how many times I’ve repurchased this. It’s my most frequently used foundation because it looks like real skin but also fresh, dewy, brightening, and buildable coverage despite never caking up on me. It’s amazing.
This is a newer purchase for me. I had planned to use it to highlight my face but didn’t realize the container would be HUGE. I’ll get a lot of use out of this on my legs when I go outside in the summer. It’s a beautiful shade and looks great as a face highlighter too. I’ll probably never repurchase because it’ll last a million years.
I love this primer. It’s really different from Tatcha’s which is smoothing and softening while having a lot of grip. This one feels a bit more sticky but really holds the makeup in place. It’s a great product and I’ve used it a few times since I’ve gotten it. I’d use it more but I haven’t worn a ton of makeup this summer.
Love this and the subtle tint it gives. I have been wearing this almost every day, especially on days I’m going outside.
This was a repurchase. I’m obsessed with this face oil foundation. It looks and feels like real skin but better. It moisturizes, covers well, is buildable, and looks amazing on. It’s one of my favorite ever beauty products.
This is a newer purchase for me. Someone was telling me I should add a Vitamin C to their routine and since I love Biossance I gave this one a shot. It feels great on my skin. I tend to use it in the daytime on days when I’m not wearing makeup because I love the texture of this so much I just want to enjoy it with nothing over it!
I bought this to replace my First Aid Beauty Hemp Oil that I love so much. It’s much more expensive but I love the CBD as an ingredient. I always put this on after doing a mask or beauty treatment, or layer it over my Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream.
I love using this and mixing it with my moisturizer at night. They work really well! I like as much as my Ecotan, but that comes in a much bigger bottle and does mostly the same thing so I probably won’t repurchase the Isle of Paradise again and just use the Ecotan!
I bought this in a nude shade after loving my bright pink Leader shade so much. I love how well this stays on but it’s comfortable. This is the perfect nude shade for me!
I mix this with my foundation or with my moisturizer for a bit of a bronzed glow. I love this so much and wear it all the time!
I have this in light and medium but prefer the light. It is a very nice baked formula that has a little bit of shimmer. Perfect for natural makeup days! I’m so glad I bought it!
New pandemic beauty rules means there are no samples out in the stores, and you can’t open packaging to see stuff. This was an impulse buy online and I didn’t realize how shockingly bright this is! I love it but don’t see myself wearing it often in my day to day because holy wow it’s bright! But, it is also a liquid lip color so it will stay in place all day.
I have heard rave reviews of these cream bronzers so I had to try one for myself. They go on pretty sheer and do a really nice job sculpting the face in a natural way. I haven’t tried a lot of cream bronzers to compare this to, but I have loved using this. I apply it before I powder my face with an all over face powder so it has a chance to be set and not stay creamy. I really enjoy it! Time will tell if it dries up quickly in the pan.
This was a blind buy and I ended up buying the smaller size rather than the big one just in case I didn’t love it. I absolutely love the scent and would compare it in complexity to Phlur’s fragrances. I love that it’s a clean formula and it’s so unique and sweet without being cloying. I know my mini size won’t last long and I’ll be buying a full bottle soon!
I’ve heard rave reviews of this so had to try it. I got the purple berry shade, and it goes on mostly sheer but danggg it feels so good on my lips. It’s very glossy and very slick without being sticky. It doesn’t stay on forever but I enjoy it while it’s on and don’t mind reapplying because it feels so nice!
I haven’t used this one yet but I always buy the new concealers Tarte comes out with. I’ll compare all 4 of their current ones
Benefit products are some of my most used for brows. This was a repurchase that I couldn’t imagine living without. Love!
Clinique mascaras are some of my favorite because they deliver amazing volumizing results without being irritating or hard to remove. I’ve repurchased this dozens of time over the years. Lately I’ve had a hard time removing my mascara with a cleansing oil, so I decided to revert back to this trusted favorite.
I’m obsessed with Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’62 perfume, and wanted to get this coconut scented hair and body mist to layer with it. I love it! I’ve sprayed this several times when I go to Sephora and finally decided I needed to own it!
This scent matches Cheirosa ’62 that I love so much so I decided I wanted it in a fragrance mist as well for spray touch ups. I love this scent so much!
That wraps up what I bought June ’19-June ’20 from Sephora! I’ve bought from plenty of other places plus what is sent to me to review but wanted to share how much I purchase on my own! Some of my favorite finds are often new brands that reach out to me, but I’m not afraid of spending some of my hard earned money to support my favorite businesses and repurchase much loved items.
What do you buy over and over? What’s something you bought in the last year?
