Eco-Friendly Beauty- Jane Iredale Holiday 2017 Collection

PR SAMPLEAFFILIATE LINKS

I love a good holiday collection, but in the interest of not adding too much to my beauty stash, I like to stick with practical basics that I know I’ll get use out of. Bronzer, lip gloss, luminizers that can be worn as eyeshadow and as highlighter? That’s my jam. I like a good fresh and clean makeup look and these products lend themselves to exactly that. Below, I’ll show you a few favorites from the Jane Iredale collection for Fall 2017 and you can see them in action. I needed little else besides the products shown here to create a quick makeup look!

First up, the Shimmer Lip Gloss Kit. I’ll be the first to admit, I’m hot and cold with lip gloss. It’s usually sticky, gets everywhere, bleeds into the corners of my lips, etc. I do have a few that I love that I wrote about a while back and you can read about them here. So we already know I’m picky…but I LOVE these. In this kit you get three small minis but they are actually sized perfectly if you’re like me and own too much makeup as it is. By the time these are running low, you will be on to the next thing anyway, am I right?

Iced Mocha is a shimmering bronze pink; Candied Rose is a shimmering berry rose; Plum Punch is a shimmering red plum. I think it’s a great assortment of colors. The formula is amazing though and that’s where these hit it out of the park. The key ingredients are lotus flower extract to soothe and protect and a plethora of oils- avocado, sunflower seed, and vitamin E to soothe, condition and provide antioxidant protection.  There are other amazing ingredients at work too, but the most notable to me is the lemon and tangerine peel, because I think this glosses really pick up some flavor from the extracts of these and that is one of my favorite things about them. They are pleasant to smell, and they are comfortable on, and I really couldn’t ask for anything more.

Next up is my favorite of the bunch, which is the Flourish Limited Edition Refillable Compact, and inside is the bronzer of my dreams. The compact is cute but the bronzer is awesome. I haven’t strayed far from my It Cosmetics Sunshine in a Compact but I misplaced it recently and this one by Jane Iredale swooped in to replace it in a quick hurry. I love that you get two bronzers that you can swirl together or use however you like. One is a bit lighter and has a bit of glimmer and the other is more of a matte satin. They work great on my fair skin. When I use this I usually take the easy road and put it in my crease as an eyeshadow too and it works great for that. If you are any darker than me, I will warn you, I don’t think this will show up on you.

Lastly, the Dream Luminizer Trio has been rocking my world. These illuminating powders are meant for eyes, lips, and skin. They come in a stacking swivel compact and they’re so pretty! They are definitely subtle which I love, but if you are looking for something blinding, you may not like these. I find these so pretty to use on my eyes, inner corner, and for highlighting. It’s a very understated, pearlescent highlight and when I’m going for a makeup look that’s simple and pretty without being bold, these fit in perfectly.

I’m wearing all of these makeup items with Iced Mocha on my lips!

Do any of these appeal to you? I’d love to know what’s calling your name! I love that bronzer the most but everything was a hit for me!
