butter LONDON’s Boho Rock Collection

It’s been over a month since I’ve received these items for review and I’m just now getting this post up! Naughty me. I love these new butter LONDON products and I’m so excited to share!

Today I have three items from butter LONDON’s new Boho Rock Collection. I am so happy that butter LONDON came out with cosmetics in addition to a nail polish line. They have wonderful nail polish, and they’ve also really hit the nail on the head with their makeup line. I have really enjoyed everything I’ve tried.
The Boho Rock Collection contains luxurious neutrals with ethereal textures for an earthy and feminine finish. The collection has soft, shimmering shades that accentuate every skin tone.

In the picture below, I’m having a pretty sheer makeup day so forgive me if my skin doesn’t look perfect. I am wearing the Treacle WINK Cream Eye Shadow and the Lippy Tinted Balm in Teddy Boy. Treacle is a light beige shimmer, and goes on super sheer. The applicator is doe foot. This is absolutely perfect for summer in my opinion. There is a very sheer wash of color, and it’s pretty low maintenance. At first glance, I thought it seemed pretty similar to Bountiful Beige by Clinique, in that it’s so sheer, but the colors are nothing alike once applied.
Lippy Tinted Balm in Teddy Boy is a medium coverage rosy créme. It has a lot of slip when it’s applied and feels very luxurious and moisturizing on. At first glance, I forgot it was anything besides a regular lipstick and wasn’t really expecting it to feel so good on. I had to go look up the info after using it because I was thinking it felt more like a balm and I was right! It’s a really pretty brownish rose color that I think would be flattering on just about everyone!

All in all, these are super wearable shades that I think would be gorgeous for your sheer makeup days. I could see them being flattering on just about anybody!
The Nail Lacquer in Trollop is another shade from the Boho Rock collection. It’s an opaque caramel créme. I painted my nails with this and the texture is exactly what I would expect from butter LONDON. It goes on so smoothly without streaking. Before trying high end nail polish, I never thought twice just spending a couple dollars on a bottle at the drugstore. It really does make a big difference to buy high end sometimes! The shade itself wasn’t the most flattering on me but I’ve seen other people review this online and it’s absolutely gorgeous on darker skin. It goes a little too tannish orange on my fair skin tone for my liking.
