There are so many things to be frustrated about this week! We are still drowning in boxes at my house, and with a toddler under foot it seems nearly impossible to make any headway with them. On top of that, we are still sharing a vehicle, I can’t for the life of me find a place in our apartment to take a decent picture for the blog, and my computer is days away from crashing forever. I was so thrilled when my Birchbox arrived to me two days ago, it was really an unexpected surprise when I needed a pick me up since I forgot I subscribe!
I love that these always come with a card attached so I know exactly what I’m getting without looking it up. I can dive right in to my box and if I love something it’s quick to see if it’s in my price range to repurchase!
Harney & Son’s Fine teas were a nice surprise. Since moving to a pretty big city, I’ve been frequenting Teavana which is a big deal around here. There is one in pretty much every mall. If you’re not familiar, it’s a tea store and I’m obsessed. Being that I’m pregnant and all, I’m always looking for something non-alcoholic to sip on and tea wins most days. I’m excited to give these a try!
I was also excited to see a decent sized Color Assure mini shampoo, conditioner, and pre-wash hair primer from Nexxus. There’s been a lot of buzz about this brand lately. I checked it out during my shower yesterday and thought it was only ok.
The next three things in my box were perfect for summer in my opinion. Marcelle 8-in-1 power serum looks really nice but I haven’t cracked it open yet. I’m addicted to serum so this was a nice addition to the box and the tube is generous for a sample size! Coola Radical Recovery After Sun lotion will be great for this weekend since I plan on doing a lot of sitting in the sun today! And lastly, my favorite part of the box was Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Coral Crush. This is full sized and applies like a sheer coral chapstick. It reminds me exactly of Maybelline Baby Lips. Love!!
