We are nearing the official beginning of summer now that Memorial Day is behind us and school will be out soon! I am thinking about getting my (sunless) tan on, and I am wanting a healthy glow to my complexion right now too! As I dig through my stash, so many new products that are out right now are calling my name and will help me achieve a gorgeous glow. I need to share some of my favorites!
Erborian Glow Créme– I reviewed this a while back and am still loving using this as a primer. It’s subtle and gorgeous and looks great when paired with the CC cream for a dewy and light/medium coverage finish.
It Cosmetics Nude Glow– This is a blush, highlight, and bronzer all in one! I want to marry everything that It Cosmetics comes out with and this is no exception. I would love to have each of these shades- they currently have three out. I’ve worn Nude Glow every day for the last couple weeks. It’s so good! I’m writing about this more later this week so stay tuned!
Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops– I currently own all the shades these come in! They recently came out with three new shades to their line- Halo, Blossom, and Rose Gold. I’m completely obsessed with Blossom, a soft pearlescent pink. It reminds me of Benefit High Beam, but maybe her older, more sophisticated sister who drinks fancy champagne.
Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Créme Gloss– I don’t often reach for a gloss but lately when I do it’s one of these. These shades are so much fun to wear. They’re almost opaque but to me look funny unless I am wearing a shade underneath. They’re super pigmented and glittery but it’s a foiled glimmer and not a chunky one. These are stunning on. I will share more in a post in the future!
Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder– I love these little ultra-fine shimmering powders that MUFE recently came out with. They have an array of colors but the light ones appeal to me the most. I like to pop them on as an inner corner highlight or as a highlighter on my cheeks. I’ll write about the whole line of them soon but for now I wanted to share that 13-Ivory is something special and I love it a ton! You need the teensy tiniest amount and it’s a huge impact.
Pur No Filter Blurring Photography Primer– I’m amazed by this product. It is SO PRETTY when used as a primer and my skin is super soft and already illuminated before my makeup’s even on yet. There is a ton of radiance/glimmer in this product which at the age of 30 flatters me. If I had a lot of wrinkles I don’t know if it would like it, but the flattering illumination that doesn’t look cakey is a huge win in my book at the moment. I can’t wait to play more with this by mixing it with a sheer coverage foundation or even using it as an illuminator over makeup. I think it would be so pretty that way!
ybf Best Illuminating Créme– On top of being a great cream highlighter, the packaging on this one is stunning. Rhinestones= YASSS. It performs like Hello Light but that one more champagne on the skin, and the ybf is more of an icy white.
Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray– I love this setting spray for finishing off a glowy look. The nozzle is really special and when you spray it the mist is micro-fine and gets a large surface area at once. My absolute favorite way of using this is after my makeup is done to spray some on a beauty blender and bounce it on my face to keep my makeup from caking up on me.
Pur Eye Polish in Silk– I’ve been wearing this eye primer and top coat in one all the time. The shade silk is a vibrant and metallic gold that lasts forever and doesn’t crease or fade. I love wearing it on its own or layered with other shades. I want to try Cashmere and Satin next! x
Osmosis Opal Body Shimmer Powder– This is going to be my jam this summer for keeping any exposed skin looking glowy and gorgeous. It has moringa oil and other great skin healthy ingredients. I love that it can be applied in layers and depending on whether you put a little or a lot you can control the intensity. I have used this on my face and on my body and it’s stunning! I will write more about it in a post on its own with swatches sometime soon!
