Over the years, Tarte has become one of my favorite brands to follow. Not every new launch fits my makeup wants and needs, but one of their newer launches for the Amazonian Clay 12-hour blushes in Naughty Nudes was one I could get on board with. I wear a lot of neutrals, but even when I don’t, I’m always seeking out a good nude blush that will match every makeup look. This collection brings us four, as well as a nice highlighter.
The four shades in this release are Exposed (nude pink), Sensual (golden nude), Seduce (rosy nude), and Risque (peachy nude). The name of the highlighter is also Exposed!
I’ve been a long time fan of Tarte’s blush formula and these are no exception. These are just so pretty! Exposed was already a best selling shade but the other three shades are brand new and share the same aesthetic. All four shades are definitely long wearing and have the creamy powder formula that is blendable and buildable like I have come to love from Tarte.
The Exposed highlighter is also lovely and pairs very well with any of these blushes, as well as any other blushes! I’ve been on a highlighter kick lately so I haven’t gotten a ton of use out of this quite yet but it’s definitely been in the rotation and I mentioned it in another post last week on subtle and strong highlighters I love.
Here I’m wearing the Risque blush with Exposed on the high points of my face as a highlighter. I don’t know if I have a favorite blush out of these but I really do enjoy this peachy nude shade!
Do you need all of these? I don’t think so. If you want to indulge in this launch pick a shade or two that appeals to you and go with it. I think the shades are too similar to justify purchasing all four unless you are a makeup junkie/weirdo like I am. I have owned these for about a month and I don’t think I’ve reached for another blush formula since the day I met these. Love a good nude blush! You won’t be disappointed if you snag one of these since they allow you to be so versatile with the rest of your makeup look. They are also permanent to Tarte’s blush collection so they don’t need to be an urgent impulse buy- you have time to slowly collect them all if you need all four!
Have you seen this launch yet? It’s been in stores for a little bit so I wouldn’t be surprised! I’d love to know your thoughts. Which one is your favorite?
