PR SAMPLEAFFILIATE LINKSL'Occitane Sublime Repairing OilI’ve written here many times about being a minimalist with my hair products. I just don’t like a lot of product buildup when I am only washing my hair two times a week. I stay away from using too many products as much as I can help it because they give me product buildup and I don’t want to have to wash it back out! My hair takes several hours to air dry and I don’t like to spend the time to blow dry it, so that’s just how I roll most of the time.

Baby #3 was due on Friday this week, but came bright and early in the morning on Tuesday (eek!) and trying to keep up with my myself, the house, and my kids over the past several weeks has been exhausting. I had been trying to keep my house in a perpetual state of clean- no dishes in the sink, no laundry to be done, no toys everywhere. I had been trying to keep the kids in a state of perfect hygiene- no dried syrup from earlier in the day stuck in their hair and always freshly bathed and ready to leave the house for Grandma’s on a whim. And I had been trying to keep my own self in check as well- legs freshly shaved at all times, hospital bag packed at all times (if I have to take my glasses out of the bag at night, putting them back, etc.) and of course that included keeping my hair in perfect shape as well. I didn’t want to be on fourth day hair and have to rush to the hospital only to not be able to get out of bed and properly wash it again until it’s even dirtier than it would be at that point. As a result, I was washing my hair every other day for a couple weeks and it took a total beating!

Enter L’Occitane’s Aromachologie Sublime Repairing Oil. This has been the bee’s knees for my hair care routine lately. I simply squirt 2-3 pumps of this into my hands and apply it to damp hair and my dry, damaged strands transform instantly into shinier, softer, better smelling versions of themselves. This repairing oil is enriched with five essential oils- angelica, lavender, geranium, ylang-ylang, and sweet orange and along with jojoba oil and vitamin B5 it really works miracles on my hair. It has this earthy, organic smell that is amazing as well. The scent of all of the Aromachologie products is absolutely divine, and this one is no exception. I have no doubt the shampoo and conditioner perform equally wonderful miracles. I only have the Repairing Oil, and with just the one product alone, I feel like I can have a completely low maintenance hair care routine. It’s noted in the description that this is also perfect for reversing the damage caused by salty ocean and chlorine-dense pool waters, so it’s definitely great timing to add something like to your hair product rotation if you did a bunch of swimming this summer!

I’m loving this as my current one product wonder. Unless I’m heat styling my hair I am wanting for nothing else!

Have you tried this yet? Do you use a hair oil?
