If you have been following my blog or Instagram recently, you’ll know that two weeks ago we got back from a trip to Las Vegas. It was a couples trip and we had so much fun! Packing to go out of town is the bane of my existence because I can be high maintenance at times. I think I brought two or three eyeshadow palettes, several lipsticks, and lots of other random makeup. I always bring more than I ever end up using! Another thing that made its way into my travel bag was a skincare line that originated in France but is new to the US market- NoxiDoxi. It is the first and only skin care regimen dedicated to creating products that address the harmful effects of environmental pollution on the skin. Since we were traveling to Sin City I expected my skin to be dry, dull, and dehydrated during our stay and thought it would be the perfect time to test a product line meant to fight these very things!

NoxiDoxi Skincare LineI tried four products from their line- the Detox Cleanser and Makeup Remover, Pollution Blocker Lightweight Serum, Radiance Booster Detox Cream, and Pollution Blocker Face Mist. These were the only four skincare items I traveled with and they were simple, but effective.

The Detox Cleanser and Makeup Remover is a 2-in-1 cleanser and eye makeup remover. It will remove everything including waterproof mascara! I found this stuff to be pretty magical for my dry skin. It is formulated with olive oil, almond oil, and vitamin C. As my skin was being cleansed, it also felt like it was being moisturized. I’ve enjoyed using this in the morning as a skin refresher and at night I’ll double cleanse with it.

The Pollution Blocker Lightweight Serum is a very light and liquid serum. I especially liked the thin texture because it sunk into my skin immediately and was super hydrating. This serum has antioxidants and a C-enzyme Q10 that make it a powerful protector from pollutants. I used this morning and night and it kept my skin silky smooth and looking great.

The Radiance Booster Detox Cream worked really well for me. The texture was a bit thicker than the serum but it was still very lightweight. Some of the benefits this cream touts include restoring moisture and balance to the skin, repairing fine lines and wrinkles, diminishing the appearance of dark spots, and promoting cell turnover. I’ve only been using this line for about a month but I have noticed a remarkable difference in how balanced my skin is feeling. It feels like a moisture treat when I wear this at night and in the morning I have no problem applying my makeup over top.

Pollution Blocker Face MistLastly, the Pollution Blocker Face Mist was a refreshing treat for my skin that also protected from environmental pollution. There are 600 sprays in the bottle and it seems to last forever, not only because of the amount of sprays but because the nozzle takes the mist in every direction so you aren’t having to spray it 10 times to cover the entire surface area of your face. I enjoy spraying this on intermittently throughout the day for some extra hydration. If you can only get one item, consider this one. Protecting your skin on the go is so easy!

NoxiDoxiYou all know I like to dabble in new skincare brands, and this one was particularly fun to try. The line itself is simple to use because there aren’t a ton of steps, and the products are effective. It was the perfect skincare line to pack for Vegas, because despite being in the midst of the hustle-bustle, heat, cigarette smoke, and other big city pollutants, my skin felt fabulous the whole time as if it was entirely unaffected by my surroundings. Airborne pollutants seep into the skin every day, which can lead to premature aging, lines, dull, redness, dark spots, and dry skin. NoxiDoxi shields and strengthens skin against pollution, restoring and repairing natural radiance. My normally dry skin felt refreshed and renewed for my whole trip, and I’ve continued to use the line since I’ve been back. If I were to wish for one more product it would be an SPF but I will usually use a setting spray with UV protection to protect from the sun so that I can easily reapply as I need to during the day.

Radiance Booster Detox CreamI think my favorite product of the bunch was the Radiance Booster Detox Cream. I took extra care to apply this to my face and neck every night after taking my makeup off because it really seemed to seal in all of the other great skincare I was using and make my skin so soft and smooth!

If you want to learn more about NoxiDoxi and how it protects against aireborne pollutants, check out this video. I actually think the pollution gremlins are kind of cute- just not on MY face. I’m so glad NoxiDoxi can protect my skin against all of the icky forces of nature and keep me looking fresh faced and fabulous!

Have you heard of NoxiDoxi? Would you try the brand? Which product appeals to you most?

Anti-pollution really is having a moment. I have two brands that also protect from pollution. Where were these when I lived in NYC?

I am all about the anti-pollution skincare lately, and my skin is loving it 🙂 This sounds like an awesome company, and I bet I would like that Booster Detox cream too, since we have similar taste in skincare.

I haven’t heard of the brand but you make it sound wonderful. I’d be worried to take a new set of skincare on a trip but this was a smart move for you.

Living in NYC I definitely need something to protect my skin from pollutants. I love mists, so that appeals to me most and so does the serum

This lone sounds wonderful. The air here is pretty clean but I can use extra protection when I have to go to the Valley. Talk about your dirty air! I also way over pack. We can go away for a weekend and I pack for a month. No kidding. lol
