I am always testing new skincare so it’s tough to choose an absolute favorite! There are so many products I test all the time- I mean with brands like IT Cosmetics, Clinique, and so many others that put out awesome skincare (and foundation!) there are so many really great product lines out there.. This fall I actually stuck with an all Kiehl’s skincare regimen just for fun because I LOVE their products and my skin was amazing during that time period. They have some of the best products on the market in my opinion and they are well worth the price tag.
One of my all time favorites from them is the Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate. I have used it over the years time and time again and the effect I get from it is unparalleled to any other product I’ve found thus far. Have you ever slipped into a pair of Spanx and then into a sexy black dress and looked in the mirror and thought “I look GOOD tonight.” That extra half an inch that shape wear sucks me in boosts my confidence 300% every time. That’s what this serum does for my face. Every time I use it, whether I’ve just started using it again today or I’m at the end of the bottle, every single time it makes my skin look and feel better in one use.
What it is supposed to do is improve overall skin texture, tone, and radiance while reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and provide anti-oxidant protection and exfoliation. When I apply it there is a slight warm tingle for a moment and it seems to melt all of my pores away to the look and to the touch. Makeup glides over it to poreless perfection and at night if I am feeling lazy, I can wear it by itself without moisturizer and I will wake up with perfect skin. It is just that good.
If I had to choose some other skincare that is truly remarkable, a few other brands come to mind. I’ve been pretty impressed with a lot of skincare Clinique has to offer, namely their Moisture Surge. I am also really loving the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. I have a big jar of that sitting on my countertop right now in fact and I love that I can use it anywhere on my body including my face. But it works SO well for my face, and it’s such a great buy because you get 6 oz. for $30, which is an enormous amount. Lastly, I should mention Paula’s Choice. I have been using their skincare exclusive for around a month now and I’m writing a post soon about my results. I won’t give too much away but I love their products so far.
Do you have an all time favorite skincare product? I’d love to know what you reach for!
