Of the many gifts that L’Occitane has out for the holidays, The Secret to Beautiful Hands is one of the most versatile sets out there. I don’t think you could go wrong gifting this to any female on your list. Or even a male, to be honest! Anyone who suffers from winter dryness, which is pretty much everyone, could benefit from this gift. Inside the box, you get three winter essentials.

The first item in this box is the Shea One Minute Hand Scrub. Alone, this retails at $24. This is a bi-phase formula containing exfoliating organic sugar and shea butter, sweet almond, and grapeseed oils to help soften the hands. You put your hand in the jar to get past the liquid and scoop out some sugars. I love doing a hand scrub year round, but really I reserve them mostly for winter. Every time I use the bathroom, blow my nose, get my hands dirty, etc I am washing my hands and they can dry out so quickly. After washing my hands with a normal hand soap to disinfect, it feels so good to do a scrub.
Shea Nail and Cuticle Nourishing Oil is next in the box. This alone retails at $20. My nail care routine is pretty nonexistent since I like to keep them filed short and unpainted most of the time. Something like this is perfect for me since I still like my cuticles to look good, despite not putting a lot of time into my actual nails. I’ve been using this for the past couple of weeks and I have noticed that I have no new hang nails, which is pretty fabulous for me. I always tend to have some skin that starts to peel away around my fingernails but it seems like this is doing the trick for me right now. This is a new formulation that contains 30% shea oil and it has a brush applicator for easy application.
Last but not least, you get a huge Shea Butter Hand Cream along with a Magic Key. This is one of L’Occitane’s best sellers and one of these hand creams is sold every three seconds around the world! I think those type of sales speak for themselves! It’s enriched with 20% shea butter, and contains honey, almond extracts, and coconut oil as well. Despite having oil in the ingredients, it is fast absorbing and super creamy. I love using this right after I use the scrub. To me, it smells lightly of baby powder, but the scent dissipates rather quickly. It is a great hand cream and if you wanted to skip the box and just buy this for a friend on your list, I’m sure they’d love it.
And because it’s sure to become a fast favorite, you’ll want to get every last drop out of the tube. That’s what the Magic Key is for. As you can see in my picture below, you slide it on to the base of the lotion and you’re able to twist it to keep the product going as it begins to run out. What a clever idea!
The Secret to Beautiful Hands retails at $60 for a $76 value. Such a good deal by one of my favorite brands! Are you going to pick one up? Have you had any lotion from L’Occitane before?
