In the past four or so years since I got pregnant with my first little one, I’ve been super sensitive to perfume. I used to love deep, woodsy florals and some of the sweet, decadent fragrances that reminded me of desserts. I will occasionally turn to a scent like that now, but these days I prefer something a little lighter and fresher. I have been wanting to try Fresh Beauty‘s perfumes for a long time and I finally got to try them recently. They are really all they’re cracked up to be and I have to show you how I’ve been enjoying the Fragrance Journey set that’s out for the holidays this year.

Fresh is a brand I have been dabbling in a LOT lately. They have skincare, bath treats, fragrances, and candles. I am completely addicted to their skincare (I bought their cleanser during the last VIB Rouge sale- I’m obsessed), and now I am addicted to their fragrances. They are housed in these gorgeous artisanal glass bottles that are so pretty to display. Fragrance Journey is available for $48 but is an $84 value. A lot of online listings show these as out of stock but I’m starting to see them be replenished this week. Keep your eye out because you NEED these!

fresh beauty holiday 2015Fresh Life Eau de ParfumAiry notes of grapefruit, lilac leaves, and transparent magnolia float above sunny hints of silk amber, warm orange, and tonka flowers, balanced by the aquatic freshness of sweet cucumber, sparkling moss, and morning dew. At the base, Earthy notes of velvet bergamot, vanilla grass, and dreamy cypress anchor the fragrance.

Hesperides Grapefruit Eau de ParfumThis full bodied bouquet begins with citrus notes like Italian lemon, orange, grapefruit, and bergamot blended with hints of jasmine, peach, and musk to add depth and sophistication. Because there is a key citrus note in each layer of Hesperides, this complex citrus fragrance is boldly bright and longer lasting than the typical light, simple citrus scents.

Brown Sugar Eau de ParfumSparkling citruses of Sicilian lemon, tangerine, and açaí berry are sprinkled with sheer caramel and sugared magnolia for an invigorating fragrance reminiscent of the iconic scent of Fresh’s original, all-natural Brown Sugar Body Polish.

fresh brown sugarI really love each of the scents individually, but Brown Sugar is really speaking to me lately. If you’ve never smelled these before you might think that a perfume called “brown sugar” was really decadent and smelled like cookies but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Each of Fresh’s perfumes smell similar to me- light and airy with notes of citrus and florals. The notes of lemon and magnolia really come through for me on this fragrance. Each of the fragrances are different in their own right but none of them are overwhelming in the slightest.

fresh beauty perfumesI was just at Sephora tonight for a late night shopping spree and took a whiff of a few other scents in this line. I thought Cannabis Santal would be another one that I’d want because I am usually drawn to fragrance with vanilla musk and rose but I wasn’t quite feeling it. After sniffing the whole line, I think they managed to package together the three best scents at a killer price. You get half an ounce of three of their scents for the price of what a one ounce bottle of one perfume bottle would normally cost. Gotta love the holidays and a package deal!

Have you smelled these before? What did you think? Do you have a favorite?
