I bought a new eyebrow waxing kit last weekend and it occurred to me that I haven’t updated you on what I’ve been using for hair removal in a while. I’m currently using three products to remove body hair, depending on from what area of my body we’re talking!

For my eyebrows: I just bought the Moom Organic Eyebrow Shaping Kit with Pomegranate Oil. What attracted me to this product was the small amount of wax included in the kit. In the past, I’ve used huge vats of wax that had to be microwaved and it was always a pain. The tube of wax included in this kit comes in a small container like a lip gloss and I can set it in a cup of hot water to melt. I was able to easily squeeze the product through the tip of the applicator and apply it directly to my eyebrows. In places I wanted a more precise placement, I used the wooden applicator stick for help. This is one of the better kits I’ve tried over the years, and I’ve tried several! As a bonus, this is organic and the only ingredients are sugar cane, chamomile tea, lemon juice, tea tree oil, and pomegranate oil.
For my face: For the past couple years I’ve been enjoying Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover. I typically apply this on my upper lip and sometimes on my chin. I’ve found that applying a thick layer of this for 5-8 minutes gets me hair-free in a hurry. It doesn’t sting or burn. If I’m feeling sensitive, I will apply for 3-4 minutes, remove it with a warm washcloth, and repeat to get any stragglers. The results of this typically last a few weeks!
For my body: I’m still going strong on the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4x that I talked about here. I did see some great results from consistent use of this, but I’m not totally hair free yet. Admittedly I have forgotten to use this recently as consistently as I had been. I am hoping that by the time March hits and I’ve used it for about a year that I have amazing results to report.
