I had just gone shopping online to pick up a few blushes to match Bite’s new fall lipsticks and low and behold, Sephora sent me a reminder email that I had a 10% VIB Rouge discount waiting to be spent, and set to expire. WTF is this madness?! I swear I don’t recall getting that email but it’s practically sacreligious to allow something like that to go unspent. And so here I am, searching for a delicious little treat on the Sephora website. Won’t you help me pick something out?
Josie Maran Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist ($38)
I need another makeup setting spray/treatment spray like I need a hole in the head. This one sounds amazing though and the bottle looks beautiful. This is supposed to be a bottled steam facial essentially. It’s alcohol-free and contains argan oil extract to nourish and coconut water to deliver essential hydration and electrolytes. Protein-rich minerals provide antioxidant protection against free radicals, konjac root ultra-filling spheres plump and smooth skin, and a powerful multi-fruit complex of sugar cane, lemon and orange extract helps remove dead skin cells, support natural collagen production, and boost skin elasticity. Cucumber and geranium revitalize the senses and skin is left saturated, supple, baby soft, and prepped for moisturizer.
Seriously, this sounds fabulous. Kind of like a pre-primer skin softening spray with all sorts of amazing skin goodies inside. I am reading reviews and they say that the bottle is made from glass. I’m not sure if that’s a selling point for me since I’ll want to spritz it all day I’m sure, and I’d love something more portable!
L’Occitane Shea Light Comforting Cream ($28)
This is supposed to be a lightweight facial cream with 5% shea butter that locks in moisture. Winning! I am all about anything new from L’Occitane. I’ve yet to find something from them that isn’t an instant favorite of mine.
Fresh Sugar Shine Lip Treatment ($18.50)
I have a recent infatuation with the Fresh Brand. I tried some of their lip balms that I bought in a lip set and I was hooked. I used a Sephora 100 point perk on this Rose mask and it was true love at first application. Now I want to dive deeper into the brand to see what else they have! I’ve been into shiny stuff (well, always!) but really into it on the lips lately. A high-shine treatment sounds fabulous.
Becca Beach Tint Lip Shimmer Souffle ($24)
I’m completely obsessed with all things Becca, and I have purchased several of the matching blushes to these lippies. I love thatyou can now get a matching lip shimmer to go with the amazing blushes they have. They sound so awesome. I’ve read a few positive reviews on these as well. Can’t wait to get my hands on a couple of these!
Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS Palette ($65)
An all-in-one-kit for redefining the brows, face, and eyes. Let’s be real here- I never ever ever travel with just one palette, even if it is an all-in-one. But the idea that everything- 9 eyeshadows, 3 contour powders, a highlighter, 2 brow powders, a brow wax, and a double ended eye shadow brush- is all in on place is pretty much amazing. Who knows if I would actually just stick to this palette while traveling or getting ready, but it’s awesome that it would be an option if I owned this palette!
Fresh Rose Discovery Kit: Hydration Essentials ($56)
Since I just discovered the Rose Face Mask, how cool that a few other Rose favorites are included in this limited-edition kit? You get a Rose Floral Toner, Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream, Rose Face Mask, and the Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment all in this kit. Hopefully the sizes aren’t just a tease! It could be a really great value.
Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette ($40)
I have the original Ombre Nudes palette, and I love it. It’s gotten a lot of mileage in the last several months since I’ve had it. These contain warm and cool undertones and can be used wet or dry. I like that they are infused with green coffee oil, which supposedly awakens the eyes and smoothes the lids, and has a built-in priming effect to extend the wear of the shadow. I know the other Becca eyeshadows I have is super long wearing, so I’m sure the same rings true for this palette. I’m also a sucker for the way they arrange the eyeshadows from light to dark- so pretty!
Well- that’s about it for what I’m salivating over right now! I’m sure I could come up with many more things on a wish list. What would you buy? I am running my first official 5k on Saturday morning and I’m thinking I may buy myself a treat from this list as a high five and job well done!
