It’s been perfume-a-palooza up in this blog this week. Ha, sorry about that! The biggest time people buy fragrance though is gifting times. It’s a splurge a lot of people don’t make on their own and it’s a very personal gift, making it perfect for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, etc. So…it’s just that time of year for buying scents. Everybody’s doing it! If you haven’t seen my posts earlier in the week on cologne, here are two other gift sets I’m recommending:
L’Occitane Cedrat (Review | Buy)
Nautica Voyage (Review | Buy)
L’Occitan (really spelled that way, I didn’t forget the “e”) is an earthy, rugged, masculine, woodsy fragrance and it comes in this awesome gift set with a shower gel, cologne, and bar soap. It doesn’t have any sweetness to it, but I can smell the notes of lavender coming through slightly, which does make it a little softer.
Created through the distillation of authentic A.O.C. lavender, blended with the peppery, nutmeg scent of burnt wood. A panoramic and complex fragrance, redolent with the rich scents of Provence, in all their ruggedness and mystery. Intended for men, but women love it, too.The cologne has the same look as the shower gel, although it’s in an amber glass bottle rather than plastic. It’s a really sophisticated bottle while also being simple. I love the dark glass. It would look great sitting out on your bathroom counter!
I don’t use bar soap but most of the guys that I know use it in the shower! I know my husband prefers to wash with bar soap when he is washing up. The Pebble Soap here comes wrapped in plastic and is etched with the L’Occitane branding. It carries the same woodsy scent you’ll find in the other products here.
My hubby has a bunch of scents he likes to rotate and this is one of them! I always love to stop in the L’Occitane store and check out new scents for myself, but I often forget they have lots of goodies for men too. Don’t forget to check them out for a Father’s Day gift for the dad in your life if you don’t have anything yet!
You can check out the whole set here! $60 for an $86 value is a great deal!
