This past weekend some of our couples friends told us about a cool way for husband and wife to get in sync with one another’s schedules. We had been doing a poor job communicating between our calendar on the fridge and text messages about which days my husband would be working overtime, which days we would be out of town, etc. It has been really frustrating but we finally have a solution! We synced our phone calendars together.
Now every time one of us adds something to the calendar, the other person can see it. So far, so good- I think. To share our calendars, I had to share my email password with my husband.  I have a friend who has asked me to do some behind the scenes blog stuff for her and every time she gives me her password, I know she’s not worried that I’m ever going to remember it because it’s pretty much in WingDings language. I’m more the type that would use an easy to remember password like 8675309, which is sad because a predictable password puts me at risk for identity theft.
If you think you’re not in danger of a security breach, guess again. Recently, I worry that my information and passwords are now floating around in two phones instead of one. If I lost my cell phone I would be worried, but now I have two phones with all of our information on them to worry about. Besides that, identity theft can happen to any person at any time! A data breach occurs when confidential information, like your Social Security number, credit card number, or health information is exposed or accessed by an unauthorized person. Just under my roof, we have four family members who could be at risk of a data breach. So what do we do?
The new LifeLock Ultimate Plus program offers new activity alerts that add peace of mind against identity fraud in a digitally connected world. With three programs to help protect your identity, every person will be able to find a program that best suits their needs.

Oh my goodness, I am a victim of identity theft! I wish I would’ve known about this a few years ago when this whole mess started! Definitely looking into it now!

I think everyone thinks that identity theft will never happen to them. Lifelock looks like a good service to have on your side.
