Several weeks ago, I gave some Teadora products a whirl. I was pretty impressed with the lip butter and the body polish, so I was excited to try out more of the line. I had already tried out the Rainforest at Dusk scent, so I wanted to try Rainforest at Dawn and the kind people at Teadora sent me two more things from the line to share with you today.
The Nourishing Bath & Body Oil in the Rainforest at Dawn scent makes for a great treat for my skin upon getting out of the shower. It’s available in a generous 8 oz size or a smaller 2 oz size. I love that it’s available in a travel size and it also ends up being the perfect size to decide if you’d like to buy the bigger size. I’ve gotten several uses out of this little guy and I still have a lot of product left.
The scent is fresh and earthy. There is something very woodsy about the scent, almost as if it smells like dirt and the earth. This oil is comprised of buriti, babassu, brazil nut, rosehip seed, and maracuja oils in a blend called the Teadora Hydration Elixir. I get the feeling that the ingredients used in this are top notch because my skin feels better than ever when I use it. It absorbs quickly into my skin and hydrates deeply. I have been topping it with the Nourishing Body Butter from this same line.
The Nourishing Body Butter I have in the Rainforest at Dusk scent. This just comes in the 8 oz size which is perfect when you are talking body butter. I use a lot of this every time I open the jar. Once again, we have lots of goodies on the ingredient list- cupuacu and murumuru butters, plant stem cells and oils from buriti, acaí, andiroba, babassu, and brazil nuts. The texture is whipped, and I can put my hands in the jar and scoop out handfuls at a time if I want. It’s a soft and light texture but super rich and hydrating.
Paired with the body oil this is pure heaven. The scents don’t end up competing at all. Unlike the lip butter, I didn’t get any chocolatey notes out of this at all. It barely has a scent but like the scrub, it’s kind of a soapy, earthy scent. SO subtle and barely detectable. With both of these products, part of the appeal for me is that they’re not super girly and sugar sweet. A lot of my body products have fruity scents and while I love that, it means it’s going to take twice as long to get through it, because I’m the only one in the household that will use it. The guy or girl in your life will definitely love these and everyone in the household would be able to use them!
I have been really impressed with everything I’ve tried from Teadora. As I write this, I just got out of the shower and applied Teadora top to bottom and I’m feeling soft, fabulous, and pampered. Have you tried anything from this brand? What’s your favorite body product?
