‘Tis the season for cold and chapped hands. I know I have been going through hand cream like water over here, and if you’re smart, you’re doing the same. I want to tell you about yet another hand cream I have kept in my stash. This one is the Hand Repair Cream by Skinfix.

I initially heard of this brand when I tried out their diaper cream a while back. I loved it but it wasn’t available anywhere except online, so I promptly forgot about it once I ran out. In November, I was pleased to hear they started selling this at Target and Target.com. I love that I can much more easily get my hands on their products now that I can swing by my local store and pick up what I need. Often times my baby needs can’t wait for a shipment in the mail, so I’m loving that I can pick up what I need in person!

But back to the hand cream- the majority of people who suffer from eczema experience it on their hands. This is a rich, medicinal cream that is clinically proven to increase skin moisturization levels by 110% after one week of use.

If you ever have itchy, painful skin on your hands you know how important it is to have a protective barrier on the skin. When I squeeze this out of the bottle, I get a thick salve. When I rub it in, it turns white initially before blending into my skin and become a thick, moisturized barrier. It feels slightly waxy at first, yet still really soft. It’s never greasy and I can tell it’s working because hours later I still feel traces of it on my skin. It’s very emollient and I can see that this would be great for frequent hand washers, cold weather dwellers, and anyone prone to dry skin.

skinfix hand cream 3This reminds me a lot of the C.O. Bigelow hand cream that I reviewed here the other day, without the medicinal smell. It’s pretty scentless as far as I can tell. I will love having this on my on bitter cold days where I can feel the wind biting at my skin.

My friend, Jessica from Intrubeauty and I decided to give ten tubes of this away! We know you will love it. Rather than giving away one full sized bottle, we are giving away ten mini 1 oz. creams. These are not the sale size, but they are perfect for your purse. In the first picture of this post- it’s the cream in the back. Good luck, and don’t forget you have to have a U.S. address to win and be over 18. The rest of the info is in the Rafflecopter below!

These sound nice. I’m glad they do not have the medicinal smell. I need a good hand cream, especially during the winter.

My mom needs this. She has such dry hands and her skin is prone to cracking very easily.

My favorite winter activity is hibernating! Since that’s not really an option these days and I have to brave the winter cold, this product would help make winter just a little easier!

This sounds nice for a nighttime cream, or maybe for the hubby’s eczema.
