LUSH has the ability to make every seasonal launch so exciting. Most brands have fun holiday packaging, but because LUSH is so environmentally conscious, most of the time, the product isn’t packaged, so it’s just a stand alone thing. I have some super fun items to share with you from their holiday launch!

dashing santaDashing Santa is a bath bomb with special effects. He will fly around the tub, just like he does through the night sky! He leaves a subtle sparkle in the tub and like all LUSH bath bombs, he is so fun to watch dissolve. He is scented in mandarin, bergamot, and orange absolute. I can’t even remember my last bath, because moms just don’t get to relax often enough. But my daughter…she LOVES them. She lives for LUSH bath bombs. I was going to buy her several of these for Christmas, but I am waiting for the new year- I am planning a no buy for myself, so this will give me an excuse to shop for someone else.

And on a slightly funny note- my kiddo is learning two syllable words right now and she is on the verge of understanding Santa but not quite there yet. She got to meet Santa this weekend and try to sit on his lap, and she wasn’t having it. She is intrigued though, and I’ve been pointing him out in cartoons and everywhere I see him. I’ve been telling her to say Santa, and it’s been coming out as “Satan” instead. It was just too adorable and funny not to share.

snow fairy sparkleSnow Fairy Sparkle is a massage bar. I totally love to give and receive massages but the place I find I use these the most often is on my feet and on my kids. I love to keep these in a tin next to the bed and get my feet with them before bed and rub the excess into my hands. This particular massage bar is in the shape of a beautiful snow fairy and has a fondant center filled with hydrating shea butter and fine, shimmering silver luster. It smells like candy and has a subtle color but it doesn’t transfer much to the skin. It’s so sweet and fun to use!

shower gels, dusting powderLUSH comes out with the best shower gels. I am loving Hot Toddy for its sparkle. This scent has a fresh ginger infusion and cinnamon leaf oil mix. It smells like cinnamon and I can totally tell it’s inspired by the alcoholic beverage. It’s a delicious and cozy scent and so perfect for the season. It’s also got aloe vera gel, so when you use it it will make your skin nice and soft. I love the sparkle and it’s fun to look at in the bottle and when I’m showering and I didn’t find that it stuck to my skin. Still, I probably wouldn’t gift this to a dude because there is sparkle in it.

Snow White is another shower gel that I am loving. This one is scented like apples, with the addition of soothing rose water and uplifting bergamot oil. I love how the scent explodes and smells amazing in the shower. This would be a great year round shower gel, although it is limited edition!

First Snow is a beautiful sparkling dusting powder. It is scented with sweet orange, cognac, and lime and has tiny glittering sparkles to make your skin look shimmery and gorgeous. The scent is really nice and pretty light and the powder goes on slightly white but you can rub it in and then all you see is the sparkles. It’s super pretty and I could see wearing this for a New Year’s party since I don’t get much use out of shimmer powder unless I’m dressing fancy!

santa's lip scrubSanta’s Lip Scrub is my personal favorite product of the bunch. I’ve been wearing a lot of matte lip products lately and they can be drying so exfoliating my lips is a must. This is flavored like Coca-Cola. It has tiny gritty red sugar scrub and also tiny red, hearts. The whole thing is edible. I apply some to my lips, and lick it off. It actually truly tastes like Coca-Cola and it’s so easy to use!

santa baby lip tintLastly, Santa Baby Lip Tint is the perfect thing to apply after the lip scrub! This contains Fair Trade shea butter and cocoa butter to soften and hydrate the lips. It also tastes like cherry coke. You’ll want a mirror when you apply this because it goes on shockingly red! I love it but it’s not a clear balm like you might expect. It’s a very vibrant red lip tint.

I love the LUSH holiday launch this year. When I was Christmas shopping the other day, I got the Gold FUN for my daughter and I am so excited to try it in the bath with her! You take a little piece off and it can be shampoo, soap, or bubble bath. It’s gold and sounds totally fun to use!

What’s your favorite item from the launch? Have you used much from LUSH before?

I need a hostess gift to bring a family with 2 daughters. I think I’ll stop into Lush. Love your story about Satan and your daughter. Too cute. Lush’s Santa lip exfoliator from last season was my favorite.
