If you read my post last week on pencil eyeliners, then you know I’ve been using them a bunch recently. I’m taking a break from liquid liners for a while to try some new pencil liner loves! I’ve always loved everything from Ardency Inn, so I was excited to try out two pencil eyeliner kits from them that are limited edition for the holidays, the Modster Eyeliner Trio, and the Modster Eyeliner Travel Sized Duo. The original pictures I took of these got lost, and the large size of the black eyeliner got misplaced, but luckily I still have each of the shades to show you, and they are so awesome!
First, the Modster Eyeliner Trio. This trio I would say is a must have. There is a really nice mix of shades represented here. Everyone needs a black liner, plus there’s an absolutely gorgeous gold shade, and the dark blue is great too. All three are wins. The only shade I wish they had included was a dark brown (their shade Coffee would have been perfect!) but these three shades offer a lot of versatility. I’ve been wearing Gold on my bottom lashline. Dark blue looks amazing there too or in my waterline to brighten up my eyes when I’m looking tired, and black I wear on my upper lash line. These are $29 for a $57 value.
The Modster Eyeliner Travel Size Duo has mini sizes of the Black and the True Blue. I wouldn’t necessarily call True Blue a staple. It’s really a fun color to play with though! It’s a really intense matte turquoise or pool blue. I really like it. At $15 for a $27 value it’s a great way to try out the formula to see if you like it.
At 0.04 oz each, the liner shades from the trio are all full size. The travel size liners are .028 but there is still a substantial amount in there! But the formula on these is truly amazing. They are so creamy as they glide on, allow for plenty of time to blend if you want a smokier look, and they are truly budgeproof. I can easily remove these with makeup remover or makeup wipes, but if I just rub at them, they don’t go anywhere. They are SUPER pigmented, so pretty, and so long lasting. I really adore these. My favorite is probably Gold, because it’s rare to find something so shimmery that doesn’t crock off or migrate at all.
Add these to your Christmas list, you need them!
