Today I have to show you my latest favorite palette. I’ve been using the Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Palette almost every day for the past several weeks. I mentioned it in my June Favorites post and today I’ll tell you why I love it so much!

I got this palette in my Nature Box a couple months ago, and I think many other bloggers did too, because I’ve been reading reviews on it non stop lately. At a glance, this might not look like the most exciting palette around, but I can assure you that there are so many possibilities here!
Looking at the top row, or the “day” eyeshadows, we have three matte neutral colors. Heaven makes a good all-over lid color and/or brow bone color. I have been using cashmere bunny and sexspresso mixed together in the crease, and love the effect that it gives. Of the three shades, I probably use sexspresso the most as a crease shade, no matter which row I’m working from!
The middle row is the classics. This is the row that I’m guessing will appeal to the most people because there is some shimmer, and all the colors are super easy to wear. Silk teddy and push-up are both great all-over lid colors if you are looking for something shimmery and neutral. Silk teddy especially is so easy to wear, and it looks similar to the MUFE Aqua Cream Eyeshadow in #16 which I wear for a base all the time. Erotica swatches similarly to sexspresso but is slightly lighter and has a bit of shimmer.
The bottom row contains the “fashion” eyeshadows. Nudie is a light, cool matte brown and probably the shade in the palette I have worn the least so far. Honey pot is possibly my favorite shade in the whole bunch. I’m a major sucker for gold shimmer and this is so pretty to wear as an all-over color on the lid, or to build a look around. Chocolate martini makes an awesome deep and shimmery crease color. When I’m doing a fun and shimmery eye shadow look, I like to mix erotica and chocolate martini together. Perfection!
There have been a couple fun eyeshadow palettes that have come out lately from different brands but I know this will continue to be a staple in my makeup bag no matter what crosses my blogging desk! When I have traveled this summer, I have brought only this with me and I’ve been just fine, whereas I usually bring 2-3 palettes with me when I leave town for the weekend- you know, just in case.
My friend, Rita, wanted to let me know she got this palette and was loving it, and she told me every time she uses it, she thanks God for making her a girl. I thought that was the perfect way to describe how great these shades are and how pretty they make me feel!
