I have so much makeup but I like to keep my routine simple in the summer. The main difference between my 5 minute routine and my full maintenance one is the absence of a setting powder, highlighter, bold lip, concealer, and eyeshadow palette. I can always add those steps later if I am doing something more exciting than running errands.
I have several of the Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Waterproof Cream Colors but #16 and #13 are ones I wear interchangeably almost daily. Both are shades of nude shimmer that are perfect for every occasion. They look great alone and you can also wear eyeshadow over top.
Stila Stay all Day Waterproof Eye Liner has become a staple for me lately. I love this because it’s budge proof and lasts all day through whatever I am doing. I will be testing out the staying power when I go to the beach on Saturday!
Tarte Lipsurgence in Blissful is a new gloss by Tarte I am testing out right now, so look for a review soon! I put this in here because I often reach for a lippie that is sheer and easy to apply without looking into a mirror, and this fits the bill.
Brow Zings in Medium is an easy product to apply quickly. Anastasia’s Dip Brow Pomade had been my go to for weeks but takes a bit more time to apply neatly. Brow Zings is quick and comes with its own mini brush if you’re on the go! I’m actually not wearing any brow products yet in the picture of my eye below, and you can tell how sparse my brows look without anything!
Make Up For Ever Extravagant Lash Mascara is a perfect mascara for every day. I love the brush because it allows me to get in and get those lower lashes with no effort! This is a great every day mascara. I’m reviewing a bunch of Make Up For Ever’s new products in a post soon so stay tuned!
Since I did this post a little backwards, on to the face products! I have been obsessed with Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Primer lately. Read my review here.
It Cosmetics YSBB CC+ Cream has been my jam lately. SPF 50 keeps me protected, it has an amazing lemon custard scent and the coverage is awesome. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you need to!
I am new to the Rouge Bunny Rouge brand, but their Orpheline blush has been something I’ve reached for daily since I started testing it out. I’m in the process of reviewing this too but I’m obsessed with coral lately, so naturally I’m loving this shade! Super cute packaging too!
Lastly, I love a good bronzer in the summer. Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess Soft Shimmer Bronzer is a long time love of mine. It has a bit of shimmer but not enough to be disco ball. I’ve had this forever and now I think it comes with new packaging. Something to check out if you’re in the market for a high end bronzer! As you can see, this doesn’t create a dramatic look, but it’s perfect for every day when I want to leave the house and look a little more put together than I would bare faced.
How do you do your makeup when you only have 5 minutes?
