I’ve been OBSESSED with Bite Beauty lately, so it’s no surprise that I had picked up a couple of their Lush Lip Tints before they sent me a package of them. Today, I have Watermelon, Orchard, Black Currant, and Tangelo to show you!
The packaging is awesome. It’s sleek and rubbery and very sturdy. I love that it’s not metal. I have some really amazing lipsticks I won’t carry around with me in my purse because they get pretty scratched up even in my makeup bag and look icky right away. I have one of these rolling around in my makeup bag as I write this, and it looks as good as new!
L-R: Black Currant, Tangelo, Watermelon, Orchard
The feel of these lip tints are glossy, balmy, and buttery. They have pure argan oil, vitamin E and fruit butters to hydrate, nourish, and revitalize lips. The center “B” contains resveratrol, a double dose of antioxidants found in red wine.
Each shade has something special to contribute. Black Currant reminds me of Clinique’s Black Honey, but slightly sheerer. It’s a gorgeous, sheer dark berry shade. Tangelo is a great way to test out the orange trend without going overboard or too bright. Watermelon is a gorgeous pinch of pink shade that is perfect for everyday. Orchard is the punchiest shade of those I tried and a really gorgeous bright pink that is surprisingly wearable.
I am the most drawn to Orchard because I love bright colors, but each of the shades has had a place in my lipstick/balm wardrobe since I began using them. I felt like doing something a little different with my makeup the other day so I reached for Tangelo. I wore very minimal makeup today and just wanted to add a touch of color to my lips, so reached for Black Currant. In the last couple weeks, I’ve been using Watermelon almost daily. I think the next shade I want to try is Juice!
The more layers of this I add to my lips, the more the color builds and seems to pop! The colors are so wearable, and the formula feels so good on my lips. These are formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs, and triclosan.
I think you’ll love these! Have you tried these or seen them in stores yet? Shop below!
