We went on a mini vacation last weekend to a water park, and I thought it would be the perfect time to test out Noodle & Boo’s Bundle of Joy set. We were only gone over night, but I knew I’d be giving my daughter a bath while we were gone because of how harsh chlorine can be on baby skin! We stayed in the most amazing hotel that really had me salivating about buying a house someday. Everything from the bathroom to the granite countertops in the kitchenette to the trim on the doors was literally to a T how I want our future home to look. It was in the middle of the mountains in Idaho and people traveled to this resort to go skiing, tubing, and visit the water park. There was an indoor water park as well as several hot tubs outside in the cold. We didn’t brave the elements but had an absolute blast on the lazy river and everything else the indoor park had to offer. I don’t know if I’ve ever slept so well and Jocelyn slept straight through until 8:30 am. It was divine. I don’t remember her ever sleeping in that late and it was truly amazing to get away.

noodle-and-boo.jpgBack to the review! We were gone for one night and didn’t even pack a suitcase. We had a beach bag for our swim wear and another small bag for everything else. I am really bad at packing light, but  the Bundle of Joy set made it super easy for me to only have to pack two bath products for Jocelyn. We tried the Newborn 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash and the Super Soft Lotion, which are part of the Bundle of Joy set.

noodle-and-boo-3.jpgFirst, the 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash. I love that they were able to achieve a body and a hair wash all in the same product. If you read my post on baby grooming essentials from last week you will know that we use a lot of different products, including conditioner. We do usually use a conditioner, but in a pinch I don’t mind skipping that step. The Hair and Body Wash achieved everything I needed it to. It lathered really quickly and with very little product, it easily cleansed the chlorine out of her hair and off of her skin, and it was quick to wash off. It was also tearless, which is a huge plus- one time I gave Jocelyn a bath in my bathroom instead of hers and forgot to use her shampoo (mine is not tearless) and believe me, it is a mistake I will never make again. It also had a light scent that was very pleasant.

The Super Soft Lotion smelled a lot like the Hair and Body Wash. It was really easy to use and her dry skin sucked it right up. After a day in the water, her little baby skin definitely needed some pampering and this was just the ticket.

I also appreciated that these products were dermatologist and pediatrician tested, hypoallergenic, and don’t contain questionable ingredients like: parabens, phthalates, sulfates, PPG’s, dyes, GMO’s, triclosan, formaldehyde donors, BPA’s and essential oils. Each of the bottles contains 2 oz. of product, which is plenty to get you through a couple weekend trips away. Also, it’s an affordable set, at just $10. I think this would be a perfect baby shower gift. Imagine how cute this set would be wrapped in an adorable little baby towel!

Have you heard of Noodle & Boo? This is a cute set I suggest you pick up for the pampered baby in your life!
