I’ve recently become totally obsessed with Paul & Joe. They have the absolute cutest packaging I’ve ever seen. The lipstick I have to show you today has flowers carved into the base of the lipstick, as well as the most adorable lipstick packaging ever. It’s limited edition so you’re going to want to get your hands on it asap!
This cheerful fresh orange gives you the bouncy step of a beautiful Poppy flower.
Inspired by fields of wonderful wild flowers.
The lipstick itself comes as a refill labeled CS 084 for $20, and you can purchase your own limited edition lipstick case for $7, mine above is CS 012. I love the case because it is a gorgeous shade of mint and has a pattern that looks kind of flowery. It’s totally reminiscent of springtime. The case is kind of a hard paper roll, but really sturdy.
The lipstick fits right into the lipstick case so nicely. Poppy looks like a bright coral-orange shade. On the lips it goes on rather sheer and feels like a cross between a lipstick and a lip gloss. It’s pretty slick and moisturizing. On me I think it looks like a sheer melon shade, a hint of orange. It wears really well for a few hours before needing another application.
The tube is super chic and the shade is so wearable. I think this will be a summer staple for me this year. If you’re curious about the summer line, take a look at Beauty Habit
