Spring releases for makeup are so fun! Today I have Laura Mercier’s Colour Story for Spring to share with you. There are several items included in the collection, but I got my hands on just three. I think you’ll love the products I’m going to share with you!

Spring Renaissance is all about reinventing yourself with shades that shine and shimmer and colors that cast a happy and youthful glow. The look Laura Mercier is trying to achieve is warm and fresh tints of color with glowing, luminous skin.

Metallic Créme Eye Colour in Copper Sunrise is a lightweight, non-greasy, lush metallic formula that floats across the eye leaving a gorgeous, shimmering sheen. It is a new, limited edition shade.

Lip Pencil in Chestnut is a perfectly textured lip pencil designed to outline, define and enhance the natural shape of the lip. It’s a repromote of a permanent item to the line.

Créme Eyeliner in Graphite is an ultra-smooth, water-proof creamy eye liner that applies with the ease and smooth silky finish of a gel and the precision of a liquid liner. It’s a new and limited edition shade.

I really loved testing these products out. The Metallic Créme Eye Colour in Copper Sunrise was a gorgeous bronzy gold shade that was super easy to apply with my finger all over the eyelid. I didn’t need to use a primer with this, as long as I used very little. A little went a super long way to create a wash of color over my eyelid. A super thin amount of Copper Sunrise didn’t crease, and stayed looking fresh for about five hours.

The lip pencil in Chestnut was a bit of a surprise for a Spring line. A brown lip liner? I was skeptical how “springy” it would look, but it really does help to achieve a warm tint of color, which was part of the goal in creating the Spring Renaissance line.

Créme eyeliner in Graphite was my absolute favorite product. I wasn’t sure how much I would like a dusty teal shade as a liner color, but I’ve found it to be so much fun to wear. I’ve been wearing it on just the bottom lash lines, or wearing a thicker stripe of color on the top lashes followed by a thin black line of liquid liner right next to the lash line. It’s a super pretty and flattering shade with my brown eyes!

In this picture, I’m wearing all three of these products! I didn’t love the matte brown of the liner with the look, so I went ahead and added the Brilliant Glacé in Pink Prism from the White Magic Collection over top. For foundation I’m wearing Laura Mercier’s Silk Créme foundation which I’ve had in my stash for a long time but always forget about. I love the flawless coverage it gives!

Have you or will you be picking any of these up? I’d love to hear what you think!
