The Celebration Foundation Illumination is a fantastic formula that is said to help achieve a soft, candle lit glow. I would agree with this description, although you may need to toy around with it a little like I did. The first few times I wore this, my skin looked really patchy and the foundation wore like a mask. Using this very sparingly would be key, and I find that using the Feel the Moment primer serum included in this kit underneath the foundation makes a huge difference. Using that first and applying this foundation with the included brush, but using a very light hand and a circular motion was what helped me have success using this foundation. I think it wears beautifully if you use a light hand!
This is the Heavenly Luxe Double Airbrush Foundation Brush. As I stated above, I love using this to apply the powder foundation. I’ve tried this with other powder foundations too, and I just have to say I love this brush. It doesn’t shed, and it buffs powder into the skin like a dream. It’s really no exception to the quality I’ve found in EVERY It Cosmetics brush that I’ve tried. I’ve had fantastic luck with all of them!
This is the Heavenly Luxe Sensory Sweeping Fan Brush. You are supposed to use it to apply the Feel the Moment Primer Serum in a sweeping motion across your face. I did use it that way and it felt nice, but realistically I won’t use a brush to apply primer serum on a daily basis, I prefer to use my finger tips. I think this brush will work beautifully to apply a thin layer of a bright blush to my cheeks, or to apply a powder highlighter on the apples of my cheeks! It’s a great brush, I just probably won’t use it for its intended purpose.
And lastly, the Feel the Moment Anti-Aging Hydrating Sensory Awakening Primer Serum, what a mouthful that is! This is a fantastic primer serum and is meant to be applied to skin after moisturizer or on bare skin and before foundation application. I absolutely love the way this feels, and feel like it’s a great dupe for the Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum. It feels almost identical on the skin to me, which is an amazing surprise, because Hourglass No. 28 is $65 for 1 oz and Feel the Moment is the same size, but you can buy the entire kit of five beauty items for only $7.50 more. What a steal! I couldn’t believe that I was the only one who drew similarities between the two products, so I looked it up and sure enough another blogger did an extensive review and comparison here that you should check out if you’re interested in reading more about it.
I absolutely loved everything in this kit, and would not be able to choose a favorite! Click over to QVC and check it out. I think it’s a great deal and the value of getting this many full size products and brushes for the price is amazing!
