Every so often a beauty item crosses my path and I think “hmmm….now that’s something different!” In a world of beauty products it takes a lot to make something stand out to me so I thought I’d share six innovative beauty products.
1//The Clarisonic Opal is a pretty interesting product. By putting serum into the reservoir tip, the sonic pulses are supposed to help work your anti aging products even deeper into your skin. I used this for a few months and kind of set it aside as I was testing other things but I saw some awesome improvements with this one of a kind beauty tool. I will be digging this back out again!
2//Hourglass Ambient Light powders are out of this world. They are meant to mimic flattering light on a person’s skin. They blur my pores and cast a glow on my face that’s not like a highlighter but has the same effect- more of a lit from within glow. I haven’t seen anything else like it, which is probably why it’s been so popular.
3//Avéne High Protection Tinted Compact SPF 50 is the type of product that I was expecting to hate and it took me by surprise when I fell in love with it. If you open the compact, the lightest of the two shades in which it’s offered is incredibly dark. VERY dark. But it applies like a dream, is a cream to powder foundation, looks incredibly flattering while it blends in to my skin tone, and keeps my face safe from the sun. I’m on my second compact and I just tried it for the first time last spring. The formula is unlike anything I’ve ever tried.
4//Beauty for Real Light up lipgloss is so unique. On top of being offered in flattering and gorgeous shades, each lip gloss has a mirror on the side and a light up wand. Every time I use it, it makes me wonder why every line doesn’t have products that light up and have their own mirror. So convenient and handy!
5//It Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Mascara Primer is not something I’ve ever seen before. The itty bitty brush gets right down by your lashline and lays down pigment between your lashes. Most people can’t get their large mascara wand close enough to their lash line, and the top third of their lashes are bare. This product helps you get right to the root for a full looking lash line. I’ve never seen anything like it, but I love the effect that it gives, and as a bonus it doesn’t make my eyes itch like some mascaras do when they get too close.
6//It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss in News Anchor Blue is such a neat product. It goes clear on the lips, but in the tube it looks blue. It contains blue micro-crystals that counteract the yellow in your teeth to give off the appearance of a whiter smile. Newscaster or not, this is an idea I can definitely get on board with!
And there you have it…six products I don’t think you’ll easily dupe. They are so innovative that I haven’t found a thing to replace them in all of their uniqueness. Click the links below to shop and take a closer look at some of these neat products!
