Although summer has come and gone, many summer makeup collections are still available online! The next couple weeks will be the last time many of the summer 2013 makeup collections will be sold online so if you were on the fence about any products, now is your chance. A makeup line I LOVE, Laura Mercier, came out with the Dark Spell Collection this past summer. I had been eyeing it and reading reviews, but never pulled the trigger. Today I have three selections to show you that are still available online!
Satin Matte Eye Color in Dark Spirit is a highly-pigmented eye shadow with a creamy texture that applies effortlessly with multi-dimensional matte finish. The long-wearing formula provides rich color payoff without dusting.
I found this to be a gorgeous matte black with just a touch of shine. There is no shimmer (that’s why they call it matte, duh!) but as you can see I tried to capture in the pan, there is a little bit of lustre. This is anything but a plain flat black. There is a little bit of dimension. It is such a rich and sultry shade, I think it will be perfect for fall looks. I don’t know about you, but with the colder weather, I tend to pick out darker, more dramatic makeup for everyday. This is the perfect addition to your collection!

Lip plumper in Rose Flush  is a limited edition shade. It is said to instantly plump, hydrate, and moisturize for healthier, sexier looking lips.
This is a gorgeous shade that would be absolutely perfect for every day in the summer, fall or really any other season. It’s not quite your average lip plumper, which in my opinion is a good thing. I’ve tried plumpers that sting the lips when they swell, but I didn’t notice that with this plumper. There is a bit of a cold feeling that comes over your lips on application, and maybe the slightest sweet synthetic taste, that I actually don’t mind…it reminds me of pez. It’s also pretty long wearing for a gloss. I got around 3-4 hours of wear out of it.

Créme Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic is another limited edition shade. This is said to be a luxurious lipstick that gives lips the ultimate in color, texture, and finish. In one smoothing swipe, the créme formula envelops lips in rich color with a semi-lustrous finish.
Angelic is a gorgeous nude that I think would flatter most complexions. I found it took one swipe as indicated to fill my lips in with the gorgeous nude shade. I like that it’s not sheer so unlike many nude lip colors I’m not trying to apply coat after coat to blank out my natural lip shade. This is a soft and creamy nude that I’ll definitely get a lot of wear out of. Laying the lip shade and the plumper doesn’t really change the color very much, rather gives a bit of a boost to the nude shade. These could definitely be worn over top of each other.

Get your hands on some of these summer collections before it’s too late! As of today, these are still available online. I think the combination of nudes and a deep sultry black matte eye shadow would make a very Kardashian-esque makeup look.
