Katy Perry just came out with a new fragrance called Killer Queen by Katy Perry. It is such a great scent for fall, and I’m excited to review it! Above, you can see it fits snugly in my makeup bag when I travel. It’s such a neat bottle!

Top Notes: Dark Plum, Wild Berry, Bergamot
Base Notes: Cashmeran, Natural Patchouli Heart, Liquid Praline

Inspired by the queen’s scepter, this distinct jewel-shaped bottle portrays sexy sophistication and lawless luxury. This addictive scent bewitches, indulges, and demands to be noticed.

“When I was creating Killer Queen, I was really inspired by the idea of a strong, confident woman in power and that is exactly what I hoped to put into this fragrance, something that brings out the power inside of you.”
-Katy Perry

I absolutely love this scent for fall. It’s sweet and and soft, but most of what I pick up on is the praline and bergamot. I usually HATE the way patchouli smells because it reminds me of a hippie, but it’s just not that prevalent in this scent and I don’t notice it. This is such a great fall scent, that I think it will be my go to this season. The last time I liked a perfume this much was Lady Gaga’s Fame. I adore that scent.

I disagree with it being overly sexy. I think you could really wear this anywhere. It fades on me within about 4 hours which is good and bad depending on how you look at it. If you want to wear it during the day, and wear something else at night, you can because the scent will be gone. If you buy a perfume and want it last all day and into the evening, this won’t.

People who love something beautiful for their vanity will be attracted to the way the bottle looks. It doesn’t stand up- it has to be laying down. I think the bottle is gorgeous but it’s really annoying for someone who has a bazillion perfumes like me. I would love to be able to stand it up so I can fit more perfumes on my vanity, but I can’t. I don’t care though…it’s so good I’ll put up with it!

I wore it all weekend and even packed it in my overnight bag. It’s a pretty darn good scent, and I think you’ll like it a lot!
