FACE Stockholm has some gorgeous new products out for Fall 2013. But first, I want to ooh and ahh over the model’s skin below. I am loving the peaches and cream complexion paired with that shade of red. It is SO pretty. And the makeup is the icing on the cake for this look. I’m so wishing I had red hair when looking at this look!
I reviewed the Matte Shadow in Citron, Lipstick in Silk, and Créme blush in London. I’ll walk you through what I thought of each of the products I tested out from their fall line.
Matte Shadow in Citron is a great shade that you won’t find easily in other makeup lines. It’s from their extensive collection of eyeshadow shades (they have 65), super pigmented, and super easy to work with. The biggest challenge with this shade is pulling it off. My complexion is not what the model’s is, but I found this shade to pair well with a darker crease shade.
Lipstick in Silk is an awesome red. It’s super easy to wear, and I love the bullet-like tube. It’s a pretty bright shade but very wearable. With simple makeup this could be a great every day red! With a more dramatic eye makeup look, it could also be a more dramatic red. Because it’s not super dark, it could go either way. It can be a bit drying, especially with the fall air, so I would recommend keeping lips well moisturized if you pick this up. It faded evenly with several hours of wear.
Créme blush in London was my favorite find. Hot pink and super scary in the pan, but really pretty on the cheeks. I am not usually a fan of cream blushes, but this one takes such a small amount and perks my skin up instantly. I’m surprised it pairs so well with a red lip. I think this will be a staple in the summer months too!
If you can only pick up one item from FACE Stockholm’s line, I say pick up their Créme blush in London. If you’re a redhead, spring for the whole line or get the Citron. I think it’s such a beautiful look for fall!
How about you? Could you pull of Citron? Have you tried FACE Stockholm?
