As a long time fan of Victoria’s Secret, I actually hadn’t been in one of their stores in ages. My dog ate all of my nice Victoria’s Secret underwear when he was a puppy, and I still haven’t gotten around to replacing them (but really, at 5 for $25 what am I waiting for? That’s about the same price as Hanes!) Almost a year after the birth of my daughter, I’m still wearing nursing bras, so I can’t shop there for bras again yet.
One thing I CAN shop for? Beauty products. Victoria’s Secret has some the best fragrances. I should know, since Very Sexy was my signature scent for four years in high school. To this day, I can’t smell that scent without being taken back to the year 2000. When I was in the store the other day, I took a sniff of Very Sexy and it’s still as good as ever. These days though, I have my eye on a different scent, Victoria.
Fresh. Sexy. Totally irresistible. The new Victoria collection–everything you love about Victoria’s Secret. A sparkling blend of red berries, Victoria rose and crème brûlée. Spray on eau de parfum for scent that lingers.
Fragrance type: Floral fruity
Notes: Red berries, Victoria rose and crème brûlée
Victoria reminds me of Very Sexy’s older, more sophisticated big sister. The fragrance is fresh and soft without being too sweet. I pick up on the floral, but not overly so. It’s not overpowering at all. I could apply a few sprays and it wouldn’t be too much.
I love everything about this fragrance, right down to the bottle. Do you see how absolutely adorable the bottle is?! The one I have is the largest size, $68, and I think it might last me forever. The cuteness of the bottle has earned this fragrance a permanent position on my vanity. Between the pink metallic bow, beveled glass bottle, and the cursive “Victoria” signature, I don’t think they could have made it cuter if they tried. If you’re in the market for a smaller size, I noticed on their website the rollerball is significantly cheaper and still sports the same adorable pink bow. I have always enjoyed Victoria’s Secret fragrances, and this one is no exception. I would definitely recommend heading to your nearest Vickie’s to try this fragrance.
