1. Using Essie’s Apricot Cuticle Oil, gently swipe a small amount around each cuticle to soften and condition the skin around your nails.

2. Apply Essie’s Ridge Filling Base Coat to smooth and prep your nails for polish. I have very ridgy nails so this is a must have base coat for me, unless I want to file and buff the tops of each nail down, which isn’t good for them!

3. If your nails are in rough shape or splitting, you can opt to apply Millionails Treatment to them as an optional step. It is a fiber and iron shield for your nails. If you are just painting them clear, you are done! Otherwise… go on to the next step!

4. Apply two coats of your favorite nail shade. My fave of the moment is NCLA’s Tennis Anyone? It is the perfect light yellow pastel shade with no shimmer…it’s a refreshingly gorgeous Spring shade from their Life’s a Beach collection. Wait to dry…

5. Apply Essie’s No Chips Ahead Top Coat to keep your nails fresh and shiny and prevent breakage.

6. Enjoy your gorgeous Spring nails for many days with no breakage, chipping, or any of that bother! What do you do for a perfect mani? Share in the comments below!
