Press Sample If you weren’t sure that summer was around the bend, I have proof below that there will be warm days ahead, swimsuits to be worn, tanning on the beach (with plenty of SPF) to be had, BBQ’s on the deck, and frou frou drinks to be consumed. Behold…two summery, delicious, alcohol inspired finds and an easy boozy recipe below!
Farmhouse Fresh Goods is home of the most delicious scents on this earth, PERIOD. This scrub contains watermelon seed oil, basil, cilantro, and organic vodka and some sugar to create a truly mouthwatering experience. It’s also 97% natural which is a huge plus in my book. I am loving the smell so much that I find myself taking the lid off just to take a whiff of it, even when I’m not going to use it! This is currently in my shower, but I want it to last forever, so I’m going to put it on the sink so I can exfoliate every time I wash my hands! Yum alert! The only thing that makes this better is using Front Porch Punch shea butter cream afterwards.
via Alba Botanica creates excellent natural products, and this body wash is no exception. I’ve been using it pretty much since the day I got it because it is that good. It brings a little taste of Hawaii to my shower every time I bathe in it. Sugar cane extract helps slough off dullness, and the refreshing scent of mai tai helps me unwind after a long day. I don’t normally take the time to shave with shaving cream, so finding a body wash that does a great job sudsing up is the ticket to me getting ready quickly. This sudses up perfectly well for me to do everything I need to do in the shower! The scent is light and fades after a bit once my skin dries off, so the scent of alcohol doesn’t linger. That’s not necessarily a scent you want to have following you around at work, and wherever you go during the day! Nothing to Disclose
And finally, my recipe! I don’t know what to call this, but it was inspired by the Watermelon Basil Vodkatini scrub. After taking a few whiffs of that, I knew that my normal beer or glass of wine just wouldn’t cut it.
Absolut Fruity Vodkatini
Equal parts Absolut Grapevine (or any fruity vodka), Orange Juice, and Sierra Mist
1 glug grenadine
2 ice cubes
I didn’t measure, but if I had to guess, it was about 2 shots of vodka, 2 shots of orange juice, 2 shots of Sierra Mist, 2-3 tablespoons of grenadine, and 2 cherries, which are optional. It was good before I added the grenadine too, but I bought grenadine for the purpose of making this drink, so I felt like I had to use it.
It is soo soo yummy! If you think you’ll like it, don’t forget to pin it! Do you have a favorite boozy drink or booze inspired body product? I’d love to hear about it!
