While following makeup trends, I normally cling onto something I see in a magazine or on TV and decide that that will be my latest “thing.” Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the TV show Once Upon a Time. My love of the show is because of the story line and also because I love Ginnifer Goodwin. I have been obsessing over the way the Snow White and Emma Swan have been doing their makeup throughout the seasons I’ve watched. Their looks have been categorized by natural looking, flawless skin, completely nude eye shadow, black eyeliner on the top lash line only, and full, fluttery lashes. Naturally, I wanted an easy way to duplicate the look for myself.

Luckily for me, there has been a huge trend in eyeliner in the past few months, and every major brand is churning out felt tip eyeliner. The tips range from thin to super thick. I have been digging the liners that are thick like a sharpie marker. No matter your price point, there is something out there to try!

Trending: Felt Tip Eyeliner

My felt tip liner of choice is by Ardency Inn. This liner comes from a makeup brand new to the scene that is deeply rooted in the downtown New York music scene. PUNKER World’s Baddest Eyeliner is a liquid liner inspired by the darkly rimmed eyes that characterize the fierce look of punk rockers. It recently debuted at Sephora stores and retails for a cool $19.
I found this liner to be deeply pigmented and easy to use. It satisfies my need to be on trend with the felt tip liner fad as well as performing to the standard I would expect from a $19 product. The liner has a thick base that narrows to a very thin point, making it an excellent option for your natural looks or your winged eyeliner looks. I was very pleased with the ease of use, as some liners are quite difficult to manage. Beginners and pro’s alike will find this a great addition to their makeup bag for Spring.

Ardency Inn has impressed me so far with their excellent liner. I can’t wait to see what the rest of their cosmetic line will be like!
